I dont doubt there may have been a lesser suspension if he signed with a different team and it is a little suspicious his suspension ends after playing the Giants. However, he did what he did we knew a lengthy suspension was possible so we just have to move forward.

Nobody is saying he was right for what he did. he was wrong and he should be punished for it. but this man will have been told he can't play NFL football for 25 games. let that sink in. he will not have been allowed to play for 25 games. 15 last year. and 10 this year. and i don't want to hear that well he got paid last year stuff. that is not the point. if it was about the money they could have fined him. this man has been told he can't play in the NFL for 25 games.

Why am i not shocked. defending these NFL screw jobs on the cowboys has gotten very old. this man is not being allowed to play football for 25 games. and when he comes back for the last 6 games. he would have not been allowed to play a game for going on 2 years.

Jerry could make a statement that questions the length of the suspension. He could say they are disappointed that the league did not follow the rules established by the judge at the Adrian Peterson case or even the rules the league has in place under the new personal conduct policy of 6 games.

The reality is that regardless of who's fault it is the fact remains he committed this violation at a time when this infraction warranted a 2 game suspension.
