If you mean they have backed themselves into paying 13m for a 30 yr old RB they tried to walk away from last year, yeah they won.
Next thing you know they will guarantee next year's 15m deal to really stick it to him.
What does that have to do with anything?
The Vikings wanted Adrian Peterson back. They could have easily cut him if they didn't want to pay him, but they didn't.
It's the same reason why Dallas fans were clamoring for AP - they see he still has something left in the tank.
So tell me what leverage AP had?
The only leverage he had was to sit out for the season, forcing the Vikings to do something. But we knew he wasn't going to do that.
Again, the Vikings had all the leverage. AP had none, or wasn't willing to exercise the only leverage he had, giving up $13 million in the process.
He aint THAT stupid.
