Christine Michael available?

Seattle was the best rushing team in the league last year after all, ahead of the 2nd place team (us) by over 25 yards/gm. Their combined YPC was also a lot better than ours (5.3 vs 4.6 for us). I figure that if we're gonna pilfer a RB from another team at some point, it might as well be the Seahawks.

Well, to be fair, Seattle had higher rushing numbers in large part due to Russell Wilson (118 car, 849 yds, 7.2 ypc, 6 TD'S). But still, their RB's were very good as a group.

Shoot, forgot to account for that. That's a good point, a rushing QB will generally inflate overall rushing YPC numbers.

Will Tukuafu at FB. He's better than Clutts.

Throw out his two long runs and he is averaging 3.9 ypc with no TDs, he is not an upgrade at all.

I would take Michaels in a second. He is the RB I have wanted the most since after the draft. Good size, strong, fast. The only reason he is not starting in Seattle is because of Lynch. I would give up a third for him. I think he has a long career in front of him in the right situation.

SEA never expected Lynch to return IMO. And the way he has personified the toughness of the Defense with Beast Mode has made Michael expendable.

I don't know about a third for only 2 years of control but considering where we are at RB it might be necessary.

Yeah, but it's mostly a flaw in the way the stats are kept. Every time he gets sacked it's not a negative run, so a rushing QB generally only generates positive yardage. Sometimes they'll take a sack away saying that the QB was a runner, but it's rare. So the 242 yards that Wilson lost on sacks (negative runs) doesn't count, but every time he breaks the pocket and makes positive yardage it bolsters the numbers.

I think Dunbar is the scatback/change of pace guy.

Michael would win the job imo and one of RWilliams, Randle or DMC would be cut.

So you're saying that if Michael becomes a Cowboy Williams won't make the team?

2013 was the leaked board year. Christine Michael was not on the Cowboys draft board.

He would start from day one, IMO. I've seen every carry from him and Randle in the nfl and college and Michael is far superior. He just has not been given a chance just like Randle.

SO I am clear, we want to trade for guy that has only 50+ carries in his career. Whose current team thought so much of him to give Marshawn Lynch a raise to keep him there another year instead of giving duties to a group of young largely unproven backs, and this guy is supposed to supplant the backs here because he is "better" based on what criteria?

Never heard of this guy

Ex Aggie. Power runner in college now he seem to ride the bench otherwise he half looked slow. Likes long walks on the street. what good if we half good O linemans to open holes for him when he get 2 yards and is angle tackled? Huh?

Dang let me apend that. He seem to half a good rushing average. hey maybe worth a look.
