Christine Michael available?

From today's news...

Seahawks UDFA RB Thomas Rawls has emerged as the rookie the coaches love.
Per ESPN, coach Pete Carroll "loves Rawls’ toughness, seeing him as a bruising runner similar to (Marshawn) Lynch." It's the same things we saw on Rawls as he ran extremely physical, aggressive and angry at Central Michigan. There's speculation he could push Christine Michael off the roster in Seattle, meaning he needs to be on deeper Dynasty benches. Lynch is 29 years old and Robert Turbin is ticketed for 2016 free agency.

Ah yes, Rawls.. The guy that Seattle stole away from us at the last minute.

Man, he is explosive. Picture him planting that foot and exploding thru line behind Fred and Martin...

So he has had major injuries, did not start his last year and sucks in pass protection...hell let's trade a first for him.

Who has been learning pass pro for 2 years in a great organization, been in an NFL weight program for 2 years, is completely healthy, and has more talent, youth, and measurables than anyone we have on the roster. No, by all means, let's stand pat.

LOL, no he doesn't.

How many cutdowns until the final 53?

If Williams gets injured again, I'd bring in Christine for a look-see. I'm not trading for him though.

After two days deliberating this dream I have changed my opinion. Since this thread is nothing more than a dream I would welcome the youth and explosive potential CM would bring to the table only IF he would then be traded for the best RB in football....yep bring him here and trade him to MINN for ALL DAY!! Yeah now we talking! :)

All it would have probably took was some extra bonus money. You know, like what we threw at Farmer, who likely be lucky to make the practice squad.

Or they could have just used a 7th rd pick on him if they really wanted him.

Which is great but why gamble with pick on a guy that is near the bottom of the roster???? Not saying he isn't a player but if he is in danger of being pushed off the roster he isn't worth a pick in a trade.

Because that guarantees you get him and with his cheap rookie contract, rather than him being picked off waivers by a team in front of us, or if no one picks him off waivers, him being able to negotiate with other teams and drive up the price (or sign with another team).

So what you are saying is that Seattle has 3 backs that are so immensely talented that his guy who is not as immensely talented but is very very talented is worth a draft pick. All of this based on his college stats and 55 NFL carries?

There's no way that they'd trade him to another "contender". If he's cut, we should definitely give him a look, I really liked him coming out of aTm.

I'm not trading a 7th for him. No teams 4th on the depth chart RB is worth a draft pick.

I do not get it. He was drafted higher than Randle and has done far less. We have Randle who made major strides forward last year and this guy is getting pushed out by an UDFA. Great measurables does not mean a thing if it never translate to the field.

He was, is and will be better than Randle. Lynch just happens to be a beast that was just re-signed.

Isn't that the point......putting the best players out there

I defer to Cowboys' scouts, but my eyes tell me this kid behind our offensive line would be better than what we have now. He has been trained the past 2 years in a similar zone blocking system, had electric plays in the preseason and some regular season games when given a chance, and has all the measurables (including size at 220+ pounds) to succeed. I would happily give up a 5 or 6 to push Williams or even Dunbar off the roster to find out.
