Per Cami? AND Sturm: Ryan Williams has been cut

Im a bit shocked...

If 100% true must not be looking to good with his knee

damn i really liked ryan williams, i hope theres a way he can get back on as camp goes on.

So you think every other team's special teams squads are littered with their starters?

Guys like Heath and Danny have a place on our team and make it better.

Allegedly on special teams.

When they have to play meaningful snaps on defense, it hurts the team. Just my opinion.

There are guys that were/are Special teams aces (Bill Bates, Steve Tasker, Justin Bethel) that can actually contribute at their position. Lawrence, Heath, and especially McCray are liabilities on the field.

This means one of two things, or both.
1. His knee was a concern and didn't think he would be able to practice much.
2. Seastrunk has impressed the team in the limited time he's been there.

Otherwise don't see any reason why they make this move before camp even begins. The fact of the matter is he was a long shot to make the roster despite all the hype. I just wonder about the timing of the move...

then why not place him on PUP? I just don't see any reason to keep him he was often injured in college and has been nothing in the NFL. I don't see how he can be counted on.

I wasn't advocating keeping him...just saying they could bring him in later if they wanted to.

Could be both making it not worth the time to see if Williams' knee gets any better.
