Week One just got a tad easier. Maybe.

Giants first round pick and former Alabama safety Landon Collins hurt his knee in New York's preseason game. Just saw the report on NFL Network.

A bad secondary may have just gotten worse, to go along with a weak pass rush missing JPP.

Karma, Mr. Mara.

Come on man. Really don't want to hear about their guys just ours.

How bad is the knee? Just a report he hurt it, but to what degree?

Taken in for x-rays. Negative. Not returning.

They have also had 2 other more severe secondary injuries tonight.

Eli got one first down in four possessions. 38 yards in 14 plays.

And another safety blew out his Achilles.

And their OL is a mess. Their RT position is in serious trouble, and Flowers (rookie) is the starting LT since Beatty was injured in preason. Their starting RG will miss all of pre-season. Flowers, Pugh, and their center have all missed time with injuries as well, so there is no cohesion to make up for the inexperience and lack of talent.

Combine that with the trouble they have with the secondary, specifically the safety position now, and it's looking more and more like Game 1 could be a blowout. I know historically you can't predict NFC East games, but they look like a bad football team this year. They'll put together some good games toward the later half of the season, but I just can't see them being sharp enough the first few weeks to be competitive They've got a lot of problems.

Meanwhile, Seattle is having serious pass protection issues tonight.
