If nothing else the Cowboys have manifested a bad feeling for me that wasn't there before..

Absolutely no rhythm at all in the preseason.

If we don't get into a groove next week I imagine week 1 with the Giants could end badly.

The starters need to play a lot next week..

Lol. The giants have no rhythm either.. Besides it's preseason, the coaching staff are just evaluating what they have..we went 0-4 last year..

I thought we were supposed to be light years ahead of the giants? Eagles looked very good last night with with RB by committee.

When you really don't have available jobs, there's no point in preseason games.

Eagles are starting there players.. And chip Kelly loves to put on a show.. We hardly had any starters playing.. Romo hardly played.. I've watched preseason games for s long time, success in preseason hardly translates in the regular season.. **** go back to our superbowl years, we hardly won then

Man.. I used to think this... Then Wades final year in Dallas happened.

All we heard is how great practices were going, get in preseason games, look, totally lost, and the come out in the regular season still trying to find a rhythm.

We need to get something going next week.

With the Giants and the Eagles our first 2 games, we need to come out strong from the get-go. I'm sure Garrett has structured our whole preseason with that in mind.

The Eagles also have an extremely difficult offense to stop if you're not game planning for it, which teams obviously aren't doing in the preseason.

No. We don't. Every year people freak out about preseason and it just doesn't mean anything.

We did come out the gates just as sloppy as ever too.

And if Romo has a bad back in Week 1 of this year, I'd anticipate us looking equally as bad.

The preseason hasn't concerned me other than these issues: We really, really need a better backup QB; our offensive line took a major hit with losing Parnell, and I'm not confident we can withstand a Free injury; and I'm still concerned with our ability to get tough yards in the ground game.

I think we are going to miss Murray very much.

Seems fair..

I'm jumpin off the ledge if we look sloppy next week.

I disagree but whatever.

I've never seen this group of Cowboys not have a solid drive or two in the preseason and then just turn a switch on like its no big deal.

The backup QB thing is silly. Most teams know they are hosed if their backup qb goes in. That's the nature of the backup qb. Half the NFL lacks a legitimate starting QB. A backup is either a future leader or just a backup.

Bottom line: If Tony Romo goes down, we're likely doomed. This is the case for almost EVERY team with a chance at a Super Bowl next year. It's the same reason the Pats are so concerned about the Brady suspension and why the Broncos might be bad if Manning is done this season. You don't worry about your backup unless you're grooming him, period.

Do not evoke the nightmare that was Camp Cupcake please. There is nothing to compare here.

No the qb came out sloppy because he had no camp. Once he righted himself the team was among the league's best. He stays healthy, this team is better defensively, they will be at least as good. Slowly back away from the ledge.

I think the defense has balled today. 9 points allowed with poor field position

Please stop using that gooey organ located inside your skull aka your brain. Your observations are far too logical and you seem to exhibit a form of elementary common sense that is as foreign a concept as any to the majority of this board on any gameday, be it preseason or regular season.
