some folks keep talking about how they missed that PI and it impacted the game. there was a call on dez that the refs missed and a blatant hit on romo that the refs missed and a crackback on fredbeard that the refs missed that could have impacted the game in favor of the cowboys. am i wrong? maybe this call too that should have been a fumble?

i guess i dont officially know what gained possession means in todays game. it looked like the bobbing of the football stopped and he clearly had it secured. but i guess the runner needs to complete certain steps with the ball secure?

I'm sure that idiot (and former comedian) Dean Blandino will humor us with his explanation. And I am sure it will make absolutely no sense and leave everyone scratching their heads and being even more confused.

Why? Because the answer is that no one really knows what a catch is right now. They are just making it up as they go. Every time they try to define it now, they (the NFL) has to make sure it passes the Dez test. Whatever rule going forward must make sure that it cannot allow for the Dez catch against GB to stand. Because that would be an admission of how they screwed up.
