Alright, I get your post now. Whitehead looked like a deer in the headlights out there, so he might not "know" the system like we think he does by default.

Maybe Whitehead goes to the practice squad now?

Whitehead is the least experience and yet knows the playbook better than Butler who was not seeing much action in Oakland because he made too many mental errors. I don't think this is a bad pickup but I also do not think he will see much action until he has some time to know and understand what he is doing. Having a guy out there lost is not going to help the team

I know you like to paint yourself as some antihero crusader on here, but you are talking complete crap to pat yourself on the back. My first post was about how I don't know if either player will pan out, so saying it's a definite good thing is you just making things up.

I'm sorry your parents didn't hug you enough growing up, but I'm not going to fight over an argument where you have taken both sides and I'm just optimistic. One day I hope you find the inner peace that robs you of your internet rage. May the road rise to meet you.

I wish I could give this 1000 likes.

Maybe, but Dunbar is really a receiver and they have 4 TEs.

I would rather activate someone who can contribute more than a couple plays
Activate CM, let him at least get some practice time in before you throw a guy out there who was making mental mistakes in the of fence he knew
With out RB all being good recievers I have no problem with just 4 WR this week

The player from Seattle...and now this player from California. Yeah...I like the way the team is getting built.

I don't think he sees much action this game NFL coaches tend to expect guys to know the playbook. Christian Michaels did not play being here 1 week I seriously doubt Butler will see much this week. following week maybe so

Butler has one job.

Stretch the field.

Keep a safety away from the box or being able to help in underneath coverage.

Fine Dallas is going to start him and he will run 1 fricken rout all game long. lol This is not backyard football.

Hey, did I ever say he was going to be in there for the entire game? Nope, sure didn't.

Yeah, don't ever try to compare me to some casual fan that think the National Football League is backyard football.

I get what your saying an yet this is the NFL I doubt seriously if our coaches are going to put him on the field with 1 rout to run all game long. I think they will do as much as they can to get him up to speed but I doubt he will be starting Sunday.

Not comparing you to anything or anyone. I doubt Butler plays this weekend you think different fine. I don't care, I gave my view and it means as much as yours we will see.

We don't need him to start on Sunday. I agree he'll have a limited role, but even in that limited role he can help the Cowboys with his great speed and his ability to be a down field threat.

Don't know the player well but hope he can contribute early. Not knowing the playbook, no familiarity with #9 and blitz recognition (knowing if he is the hot read or not) are my primary concerns no matter who Dallas signed. The Eagles blitzed close to 35% of the time last night. Bill Davis will blitz a ton Sunday...bank on that. How #9, the OL, RB's, TE's and WR's handle that will go a long way to getting a win.

Beating one on one's will be vital...hope Butler can handle it if active.
