Before some of you guys jump off the bridge, remember last week against the giants. I seem to remember Dez not being on that last drive. The offence will be fine, Dez will come back before the playoffs like a player possessed and with only one thing on his mind.

I agree. While I think these reports on Dez are exaggerated, there is only one player on the team that if we lost them I feel that the season is over and that is Romo. As long as we have number 9 back there this team has a chance.

This is true... But if we don't run .... We/Romo are/is in trouble.

I'm mostly a lurker, but guys this is Ian Rapoport. He's notorious for sensationalizing and pulling "sources" and "experts" out of thin air. If Dez was expected to miss a more significant amount of time, he'd be on IR-Designated To Return. Let's wait a bit to hear from something more reliable before jumping off a cliff.

Stupid not to put him on short term IR designated to return
He can practice in 6 weeks and return week 8 and it gives us another roster spot

Oh well. Tony will just have to rack up all his yards and td's with other wr's

I think the team will be ok.

We have other weapons.

Despite his season last year..

there was numerous times Dez disappeared in games for long stretches and we had to find other options and did.

Hopefully we see him later this year..

if not..next.

Injuries are part of the game.

I don't think we will see Dez and you can't except that if he came back for the final week or two, that he would make any contribution. It's a lost year for him. 9-7 and I'm sticking to it.

I think he will be back before the playoffs and I also think we can get into the playoffs without him. Now i really wish I had picked up Beasley or T Will on my fantasy team.

Today's game will be very interesting to see if the Eagles decide to stack the box in an attempt to force Romo to throw downfield to Williams and Street. If they do we will either take what the defense gives us and go down field or impose our will running the ball against a stacked box.

Either way there is cause for concern. Or optimism if we beat it.

While I agree with some lets not make the mistake that what you see on TV is the entire picture. Dez never disappeared in a game. The defenses rolled safeties to double Dez and that opened up holes in the defense in other places. Romo takes what the defense gives him smartly. Dez never disappears. A game where he has 0 catches still has him making a significant contribution.

Stat lines and fantasy football have ruined fans basic understanding of this game.
