He had an interesting take on the radio anout Weeden. He said Dez being out of the lineup may help him because of Dez's personality and having to force the ball to Dez. Now he can just be himself. Im going to hope thats the case.

I usually end up changing the station or turning it off after a few minutes with Holley when he is on the Fan. But sometimes he can be ok.
Not saying I disagree with him on this, but maybe he worded it wrong. As I do not know how he said this.
But maybe,
It wouldn't be Dez saying....throw me the ball....but maybe Weeden thinking he needs to throw it Dez's way regardless of the situation.
Trying to force the ball to him, when he shouldn't.

It wasnt a shot at Dez imo

Why does anyone listen to Holly? The guy is a nobody with a big mouth.

They're going to rely on the run and keep Weeden in as few 3rd & longs possible. It's imperative that they can run the ball better this week. With atlanta and NO on deck, they should be able to do so.

I don't know if Dez is really the type that screams "Give me the damn ball!", he's passionate and has a lot of fire but he just doesn't come off as that type of player to me. He always seems to be one of the first people there to congratulate his teammate if they make a great play. Or maybe I'm reading what Holley was trying to say wrong.

agree, I think it was just said wrong or taken wrong.
Again I did not hear it, but hard to tell interpretations and translations at times. Could be it was said the way it was posted too.
But I don't see him taking a shot at Dez, but have heard him take shots at other WR's as well as the RB's.

What he's saying makes all the sense in the world IMO. If he had said, "Weedon might be better now because he will be playing with guys he practices with, with Dez being out." It's basically the same thing. All in how it's reported.

Weeden to Dez was one of the most lethal combos in college football. I'd like Weeden to have that security blanket. Offense will have to play out of their minds and it all starts with the line. They can carry this offense for two months unless they play like yesterday.

I have seen Dez act up when he's not getting the ball. Seems like a lot of really short memories going on today.

Yes sir...clearly the plan. Hope to HECK Leary can get back healthy, Collins get more acclimated and Martin gets healthier. Martin is NOT healthy IMHO
