Jesse Holley on Weeden

Weeden to Dez was one of the most lethal combos in college football. I'd like Weeden to have that security blanket. Offense will have to play out of their minds and it all starts with the line. They can carry this offense for two months unless they play like yesterday.

I'm no ... They never even got on the field together at oklahoma st

The only person Weeden needs in his ear is Linehan.

For Weeden, in particular, there might be something to the idea that he'd do better without being obligated to go to Dez. He's much more accurate with the short and medium stuff than farther downfield. It could very well help to keep him in his "safe" zone. That medium pass he threw to T-Will was right on the money.

This offense will be able to move the ball well between the 20's, and will hit the occasional big play like the one to Twill yesterday, but I have serious doubts about the red zone.

I usually end up changing the station or turning it off after a few minutes with Holley when he is on the Fan. But sometimes he can be ok.
.
I can't stand Nate Newton. He sounds so ghetto. Whoever thought he'd be a good radio personality is dead wrong.

Well Dez did have 10 targets and only 2 catches vs. Arizona last year, so maybe there's some merit to what Holley's saying.

I'll believe it when I see it though.

Jesse Holley is the only thing I have against Michael Irvin. Why anyone listens to him, particularly since he NEVER played with Weeden, is a mystery.

Talk about your 15 minutes...

I agree on Irvin, why did he have to bring this trash around.

I love Nate's raw, honest approach. It's like he's in your living room telling you about the game. And he's knowledgeable about what goes on.

Not saying I disagree with him on this, but maybe he worded it wrong. As I do not know how he said this.
But maybe,
It wouldn't be Dez saying....throw me the ball....but maybe Weeden thinking he needs to throw it Dez's way regardless of the situation.
Trying to force the ball to him, when he shouldn't.

The Arizona game last year.

Well dez ain't coming out on that field so I guess we will all see soon enough. Here's your chance Brandon

Having Dez back will only help Weeden, I just hope it's enough to play .500 ball for 8 games
