DALLAS (The Fan) – Dez Bryant and I visited this morning near the Dallas Cowboys weight room, where he noted, “Things are going perfectly. My foot feels great. Feels like it’s healing great.’’

Bryant underwent a procedure to repair the fifth metatarsal in his foot, leading to all-over-the-map speculation about his return for the All-Pro receiver.

Sources tell me it’s a “super-aggressive approach” designed to speed healing, prevent a re-break, and have him back in six to eight weeks following thesurgery…and Bryant is nothing if not “super-aggressive.’’

“Yes, I want to come back faster than people expect,’’ Dez told me. “That (errant speculation) motivates me.’’

depending...probably not. natural movement helps blood flow which is important to that healing. as long as the bone was repaired correctly...its actually probably best he use it.

I see people dumping their crutches all the time 10 days after they break their foot. It's normal.

I broke the growth plate in my right foot twice. They didnt even give me a walking boot, just told me as much as I could handle the pain, to use it as normal (no abonormal stressors, but just normal use).

Yes I am sure the training staff, doctors and coaches all ignored Dez walking on it when he shouldn't be.
