I'm usually positive as many here know.

But without Dez and Romo we have no chance. Maybe with an all time defense but we do not have that.

Take away any teams elite QB AND elite WR and they're toast.

If Rodgers got hurt along w Nelson? GB done.

No Matt Ryan and Julio? They're 0-3

And on and on.

We've lost our identity and heart and soul. You just don't replace that with backups and "next man up".

What a crying shame this season became before it really got started.

It amazes me how fast the Rats jump ship. I'm not giving up until it's mathematically impossible to get in the playoffs. This team is more ready than any in along time to handle these adversaties. I have faith in the coaches to get the team through this until the injured can return. What a story it will be. I wouldn't want to be in a foxhole with any of you fans quitting so easily.

Defense was such a let down. I had a bad feeling those first 2 games were a mirage. We just are in a bad shape right now with injuries but blowing a game where we had 3 different 14pt leads and what we ran out there in the 2nd half is inexcusable.

The defensive line getting thin is what's hurting the most right behind losing Romo.

I'm not sure our season is "over", we can win against New Orleans and Bucs, then I'm hoping we can at least pull out a win against Philly. That gives us 5 wins for when Romo gets back.

Don't forget to factor in we play the better teams tough. Defense took one to many hits and after the Saints game I look for a much improved defense. We have to help them, can't leave the defense on the field for the entire second half and expect them not to be tired

The defense has to be who carries this team during this nuclear winter and unfortunately today was not good enough. Dallas will get some key players back after the Saints game which will be a big one, with NE coming after. Hopefully Cassel can play by that time so opponents will have to defend the entire field, The offense became too predictable and the defense did not adjust to their passing game in the 2nd half. Weeden played like Weeden, not a surprise. The surprise was we expected someone different. Even the coaches don't trust him so not sure why we kept him as the backup, Showers could have done the checkdowns plus he could also use his speed and running ability.

Every game is going to be a challenge and a struggle. Notice how we don't have this home field advantage thing down pat. So I ain't worried about not getting home field during playoff time. Oh well, next up are the Saints, can't lose more than one game a week. Back to the drawing board.

Sorry, but we don't win that game even with Romo + Dez.
I agree that we wouldn't have won this game but with Romo, and Dez out there the Falcons wouldn't have been stacking the box daring them to beat them and the score would've been much closer than 39-28 but then again Romo would've put the defense in better position to take a breather or two with the way he runs this offense and his ability to change the play at the LOS for the offense to have success with Weeden at the helm he run the play that is called it night and day between Romo, and Weeden.

It would have been an entirely different game with them playing, but going in the the 2nd half we were just getting beat in the trenches. The D needs line need a to step up here. They dropped at least two picks and we're letting them run right up the middle.

I don't think you pointing out anything the common fan doesn't already understands. Its a question of can they squeak out a few wins so the team is positioned for run at the end.

Hopefully this is low point of the season. We just got out-coached in the 2nd half, we didn't have a pass rush at all, and Atlanta had the ball 8 minutes longer than we did. TOP is a battle we're used to winning. We have Mincey coming back against the Aints, then Hardy and Ro for the Pats, and Gregory will be back after the bye and everyone else will have a chance to get a bit healthier with the extra week off. Maybe Cassel starts and throws the ball downfield a bit so they can't just put the whole defensive team on the line of scrimmage and wait for us to bounce off of it.

Once we get our pass rush back, the rest of the D will play much, much better. We can win some games while we're waiting for Tony.

Yes that I did see in which Claiborne drop a sure pick six and Wilber couldn't come up with the batted ball and yes both sides of the trenches got whipped in the second half and I will say again Weeden couldn't and can't function this offense and that is what the Falcons knew and they clamped down in that second half.

So many of you are fooling yourselves if you're counting wins with the check down king at QB. The guy has now lost his last 10 starts, that's not an accident folks. If the change is made to Cassell then maybe the Boys can win a few games but I'll be shocked if Weeden leads this team to one win.
