Jerry Jones: Christine Michael offers a "different dimension"

they are desperate of course he plays there season is pretty much on the line

They're saying his snaps were reduced in Thursday's practice relative to Wed's practice. Not sure that means anything, though.

This is a good week to elevate him, though. Bad running defense, and we're going to want to make a statement and take pressure off the QB. He's been here long enough to know what time it is, and if he misses a protection everybody would be happy and not mad.

If he plays, most likely inactive DMac?

Well, this seems like a timely point in time to insert a RB with the ability to gain yardage in a crowded box. Rob Ryan is dead certain to feel confident employing the same tactics that proved successful for Atlanta last week by stacking the box. Hopefully, C-Mike will be be reasonably capable of discouraging that ploy, along with a QB and staff that should be at least a bit more willing to venture downfield upon occasion. Here's hoping that both Weeds and the staff realize by now that they can't allow the Saints defense to get too cocky with the idea of "cheating up."

If Jerry is selling him this hard, I bet we see him this weekend.

Before the Atlanta game, nobody even knew who Devonta Freeman was, and for the people who knew who he was, kept telling us how the Atlanta running game would be non existent with him instead of their rookie, now Christine Michael is being compared to him? I see how this works now.

I think they need to pick up 4 wins until Romo gets back and the next two games are rough after this week. Atlanta was a big blown chance.

If we go 4-4 or 4-3 with Weeden at quarterback, we should all be dancing in the streets. I think two to three is more realistic, and I don't think we'll be out of the race if that happens. It's entirely possibly the division can be won at 9-7 or 10-6.

From what I've read, Lucky Whitehead would most likely be the odd man out. They would just bring four RB's (5 if you count Clutts) to the game. That's obviously a surplus of RB's, but we're losing nothing by sitting Whitehead, IMO.

Dunbar is essentially a receiver so you're right.

Sorry, not too impressed. Is he physical, yeah, but not overly . Vision, average. Fast, again average at best. His role, maybe short yardage. I really don't see an upgrade. Randle showed well last game and Dmac needs more touches, but of course if the defense isn't made to play honest by a pass threat it won't much matter who the rb is.
