There is no reason to carry Randle, CMike and McFadden on Sunday. They are fine with 2 of them plus Dunbar and Clutts.

Randle and McFadden offer the exact same things. Without an injury they are redundant.

Randle had several outstanding runs and scored three TDs on Sunday. He didn't do much later but when your QB won't throw downfield or outside the tackle box even, then the D is sort of at an advantage in the run stopping department.

Anyone could have scored those 3TD because anyone can run behind our line.

I know you are being a little sarcastic, but Randle's 2 big runs were impressive. Those are his strong points. Being able to hit the hole and go and having some wiggle in the open field.

He also was exposed in the second half when he couldn't get any yards when it is clogged up. Even his short yard TD leap was shaky. He can't move the pile so he tried leaping over and could have been called for a fumble and no TD.

I think Clutts should get cut to be quite honest. He offers nothing. The reason for having a FB is to block, and he cant even do that well.

If it isn't Clutts it should be another FB. I wouldn't dump the position just because Clutts stinks. Just get someone in that can block.

They're saying his snaps were reduced in Thursday's practice relative to Wed's practice. Not sure that means anything, though.

This is a good week to elevate him, though. Bad running defense, and we're going to want to make a statement and take pressure off the QB. He's been here long enough to know what time it is, and if he misses a protection everybody would be happy and not mad.

Lol. Yeah. You already know. Bottom line, Randle is not a "move the chains" kinda back and we need that right now. Clock management is incredibly important.

Agreed I think 3 is the likely # unless our defense plays lights out going fwd? I personally would start Dmac and bring Randall in for relief, Dmac is a bigger load and has not gotten enough carries. Bring 4 rb's to the game or sit Dunbar and let Dmac or Randall take over that role...I think they can both catch as well as Dunbar...at least Dmac can.

So you want McFadden, who has averaged 3.7 yards per carry, to replace Randle, who has averaged 4.2?

McFadden is faster and bigger, but he isn't better. He just doesn't see the lanes well, which causes him to hesitate ... and he who hesitates is tackled.

If anything, I would deactivate McFadden and give Michael a chance to at least take his role. Randle and Dunbar have been much more vital to this offense than McFadden.

I agree. Hynowski is available. Or just throw Michael in as the FB. Would make for some interesting defensive looks.

Michael running behind hynoski ( ex giant FB) would be pure power.

I wish they drafted the guy that is on the Texans. Not sure how he is doing but he used to blow people up at Auburn I think it was. Can't remember his last name but the guy even looks like a beast.

Yep I take Dmac all day over Randall, Randall would be good for relief. Dmac needs 18-20 carries a game to see what he has. 6 carries here and there is worthless to see what someone has, but we constantly pull this crap, Escobar is another wasted body at this point.

how about lets get rid of clutts who does absolutely nothing. I rather have 4 rb's than clutts active.

and to think we drafted escobar over Le'veon Bell smh. (when we had a perfectly fine HOFer in witten playing in front of him). Not only did we make that mistake with drafting bennett in the second round we compound the mistake by letting bennett walk, or cut I forget, and drafting escobar.
