This from SI's power rankings (Cowboys No. 18)

Brandon Weeden now has thrown for the exact same number of yards this season as Tony Romo (551). He has a better yards per attempt (9.3 to Romo's 7.7), a longer completion (67 yards to Romo's 39) and higher QB rating (108.8 to 98.8).

id expect contenders from a team who couldnt beat a winless team. Than again under Weeden we are winless. So its obvious we are contensious right now, After we beat NE, we shold rocket up teh charts.

That's what I've been saying.

Obviously, I don't think Weeden is better than Romo or anywhere in the same galaxy. But, his performance has been incredibly efficient this season. He ranks 7th in the LEAGUE in FootballOutsiders.com's DVOA rankings.

The problems we've had in the past 2 games are far more defense related. It's not even remotely close.

2tony played what 1 and a half games lol. weeden played 2 and a half. Weeden is going to have to start hitting more on the left side also. Can't be a onsided QB. But I liked that we started going deep more last game. Belicheat is going to bait weeden into throwing a pick or 2. If we can get tom brady off his spot and hit him acouple times. We suck at guarding rb's in the flat. Look for Dion Lewis to have a big game.

Shhhhh...don't tell opposing coaches, they may try to put more pressure on him.....

He played well against the Saints (Especially late in the 4th), but the criticism of him in the Atlanta game still holds.

I won't be surprised if he has a meltdown this week against the Patriots.

Gee Mods, thanks for rewriting the headline. No nobody is reading this.

Ooops i spoke too soon. they are coming in faster than hostesses for one of Jerra's parties.

Thx! Mods! We all love you.

Most important number: Romo 2-0 and Weeden is 0-2

Tony didn't even play two complete games so, in this case, the numbers are deceptive. Weeden is not TR. And he's fat.

For a backup, Weeden has not been terrible.
They're giving him the easy throws to stop the run game.
Dallas let one slip away in New Orleans.

Wouldn't it be something if the only game we win with Romo out is against the Patriots? Haha

Ive been pleased with Weeden's performance the past 2 games. If the defnse had been able to play a little better the team would be 4-0 despite missing starting QB and top WR.
