That's what I've been saying.

Obviously, I don't think Weeden is better than Romo or anywhere in the same galaxy. But, his performance has been incredibly efficient this season. He ranks 7th in the LEAGUE in FootballOutsiders.com's DVOA rankings.

The problems we've had in the past 2 games are far more defense related. It's not even remotely close.

YR

Why won't our fans ever put losses at the feet of our defense where they so often belong? I mean, when it's obvious? I just don't get it.

If I hear one more person make a time of possession argument to me with a straight face, I'm going to go Kraken on him.

If defenses loaded the box on Tony like they always do with Weeden, they'd come to regret it.

After loading the box on Weeden, they'll routinely end up celebrating -- big difference there.

And the scary thing is that, after Sunday, Weedon will half thown for more yards than Romo.

But if he was only rated at 108.9 we might be 4-0.

This all day. Throwing to NO ONE that takes up a double team. And Witten is the only mismatch we have on the field right now. Williams needs to man up. STAT.

This from SI's power rankings (Cowboys No. 18)

Brandon Weeden now has thrown for the exact same number of yards this season as Tony Romo (551). He has a better yards per attempt (9.3 to Romo's 7.7), a longer completion (67 yards to Romo's 39) and higher QB rating (108.8 to 98.8).

Wow, you uncover all the facts !!!

When stats say one thing and the eye test says another. I'll go with the eye test.

Or the brain test. Weeden was allowed his meaningless "stats" against the Falcons. They knew where they had him and the percentages of winning the game. And they were right. He was totally inept. No matter if he had a +100 QBR.

Further proof stats can lie?

Words said by those who do not like what the statistics are saying!

And to Mr BP:As I posted last week; Romo was dinking and dunking the first two games as well.

You gonna delete this post as well !

Our D is killing us. Injuries man, injuries.

Our D lost vs. Atlanta. Weeden did all he could.

Our D lost vs. NO. 3 dropped INT's. The game shouldn't have been close.

It is what it is i guess.

No! You cannot give that comment the hammer treatment. Stats are measurements. They do not lie, they only measure. If I'm stupid enough to look at the total yards number and not realize it came on a different number of attempts and a different number of completions against different teams over a different number of quarters, then *I'm* the one that needs to be repeatedly hit with the hammer. To knock sense into me.

At which point, maybe it would occur to me that passing yardage isn't all that correlative a statistic in the first place. For which I ought to be hit with a hammer again, anyway for not realizing it off the top.
