Twitter: Beasley apologizes to fans

It was a team loss. You should not single out one player and say "he cost us the game". In case you didn't notice, we were behind when he fumbled. Was that his fault too?

Did I mention I was still pissed?

The context of the thread is the Beaz, he lost any chance of hope in a one posession game.

He may not of cost us the game but he cost us a chance to tie the game.

It was his fault for fumbling in a critcal part of the game, that is his responsibility alone.

Did I mention I do not care if you were wissed?

They werent winning this game even if he didnt fumble. What has come to the surface with Romo and Dez out is that Beas is a nice slot receiver. He is a complimentary piece, just like T Will, nothing more.

Damn you guys are unforgiving and fickle. WRs are going to look bad when the QB is bad and vice versa.

Beasley is a Z and he does that well. He is returning punts because we don't have anyone else. That's not his thing. He should catch the ball and that's one reason he's there. I haven't seen many returners who haven't fumbled. It was bad timing.

He didn't lose the game anymore than Wilbur did for losing lane integrity. They turned the ball over 3 times and gave up 2 scores one a pick six and another a STs TD. You rarely win those games.

I'm happy the guy is on the team. Most teams would like to have a Z like him.
Now you know people are fickle when they can't have their winning drugs lol. We lost but it is what it is. I'm mad they lost but not like the twitter muscle crew out here. Patmon is right people know damn well they wouldn't want people coming at their fam but stay being anonymously disrespectful. Coward stuff

I'm a jerk and don't root for players specifically, I don't care about him (in a football context) or his apology, play better or go away. Obnoxious to harass a guy on Twitter though.

Because our offenseive scheme does nothing to help a WR that is not built like Dez or have his skills.

Yup, put him in the Pats scheme and the rue'ing would be deafening

I was upset that Beasley dropped it, but it was just a shrug, and I was like "Eh. Par for the course."

The chance that Cassel would have led them down for a score with things flip flopping for the team in the most "what the hell" ways with 1:30 on the clock and no timeouts left was minimal without Romo behind center.

Was a great tweet until the true fan garbage. Completely unneeded in an apology.

I usually come down on the 'true fan' stuff on message boards because fans aren't in position to tell other fans what's a true fan and what isn't. It's not the same for the players, though, in my opinion. They have every right to hate on fans that suck. Normally, they can't say much about it before the team gets involved for obvious reasons, but you have to know the players hate the fans that react the way he's characterizing them. And with good reason. I'd hate to have those types of fans supporting me, too, frankly. If they don't like the disrespect, they always have the option of behaving better. It's not exactly hard to do.

Beasley is giving us nothing. Without Dez dude is basically useless. I like the guy, but I'd love for the Cowboys to get a better all around slot reciever to take his place who doesn't need Dez to shift coverage away from him to be able to make plays.

Did you just start watching football this year? You don't seem like a bad guy or anything, but your football opinions always seem to on the opposite side of being correct.

Some blame goes to Beasley.

Most of the blame goes to Jerry/Stephen and the coaching staff. All the uniformed posters on here talking like Harris wasn't a good returner, has ALWAYS been a good returner. Always. I have no idea why this place continues to sugarcoat players we have and demonize the players we lose.

The RBs we have cannot consistently play like Murray did in the most games while he was here. That debate should be over. We should have actually tried to bring Harris back, we didn't, and we are now stuck with players with little experience at returning. You go cheap at a position, you often get these kind of results.

Shouldn't have partied it up Friday night @ the World's Observitory. Not to pin it all on CB....because half the team was guilty. But this team wasn't ready to play.

I'm not saying there aren't garbage fans out there. I'm saying it's unneeded in an apology. If you're going to apologize, do so and just move on. A simple apology, with a thank you to the fans would have sufficed.

It really doesnt seem like he wants to be returning punts and I blame the coaches for his lack of mechanics catching the ball.

I agree with that, yeah. I see you're point.
