Twitter: Beasley apologizes to fans

You should've seen some of the tweets from @MrsBease11. His wife has a foul mouth. I understand her defending her husband as I have used a profane word or two in my day, but as a pro athlete's wife she should know better. I'm sure Beasley is embarrassed by her and the Cowboys PR folks will surely have something to say to them about this. By the way, she took the tweets down so maybe they already have.

Man, Social Media is a powerful thing. As I said before, if I want to know how my marriage is doing, I check my wife's Facebook page. If I want a second opinion, I check her Tweets.

What's with all the Beasley hate? He's been our best -- not to mention out most consistent -- receiver since Dez got hurt. He had his first and only bad game of the season so far. We all have a bad day at the office sooner or later, cut the guy a break.

He's a one trick pony. He can only run 5 yard routes. Too one dimensional.

She sounds like an idiot. Your husband is the pro football player. Stay out of it.

Ok. I'll just talk about Cowboys stuff on a Cowboys board.

Just use some basic intelligence and post under the appropriate thread topic, nothing else to say about the matter.

Let me go into the NFL zone and pick some random threads to talk about Cassel, that makes sense.

No offense Beasely, but get off social media.. And work on not fair catching punts inside the 15 yard line.

When he started running backwards with the punt still in the air, I said uh-oh, but I didn't think that would happen.

Whatever you wanna do. It's not a presidential debate that's timed and organized into Q and A, *******.

We are challenging vertically with WRs like T Will as our number 1, who has NO SPEED..

Since when does this team use Beasley as a number 1 option in the progressions in this offense? What exactly do people expect from him?

We don't threaten with play-action despite our RB having 6 YPC, so how does one expect our WR that are as slow as molasses on the field to beat a guy like Cromartie?

We are in like week 8 and it's the first time we saw a reverse from what I can remember..

I could not imagine being a wife of an athlete, but I think there should be a rule that you should stay off social media after your significant other did something dumb. Youre not going to find nice things, so why look?? Then, you end up looking like psycho going off on fans like that.

I blame the coaching staff

Yeah, do we even have a special teams coach, cuz it doesn't look like we do. Our special teams have sucked all year and tonight was just a kick in the stomach. Harris takes it back and Beasley muffs the punt to seal the game. Beasley looks as comfortable punt returning as a thief in church. Get him out of there, let him concentrate on what he does well.

I think it's cool he apologized to the fans but the real apology needs to come from up top and down through the coaching staffs. I want to hear an apology from Jerry, Garrett and on down cuz these guys are not ready to play. Yes I know that we are missing Dez and Romo but we are losing games cuz of mental lapses and stupidity. Other teams lose key players and their coaches can make adjustments and prepare the team to play.

Our defense can't get a turnover to save it's life. I watched the Giants/Eagles game last week and was at awe at how well the giants were turning ball over. I thought we would get at least one. I can't stand how many close interceptions we get. I also love how when a running back runs up the gut on us how we spend about ten yards trying to rip the ball out instead of tackling him. This is all just fun stuff to watch. I also love how our kick returns and coverages put us in bad field position and the other team in good field position. As I am typing this a Eagles CB just intercepted Cam Newton. The only turnover a Cowboy's fan can get is at a bakery. I often fantasize about a secondary that can intercept a ball, cover people and make tackles. Do we have a secondary coach as well? I mean how can you go 15 years without a good safety. Why is it so hard to either draft or develop a nfl caliber starting safety? I think Darren Woodson can put on a uniform next week and be our best safety.

O well, my emotional rant is over.

Thanks for the apology Beasley, cuz you did screw up but when in Rome.

Because our offenseive scheme does nothing to help a WR that is not built like Dez or have his skills.

Yeah we need an all pro at every single offensive position to move the ball. Somehow other teams can get buy with just starters but not us. Our offensive system is based on the players being molded into it instead of getting the best out of every player.
