I'm shocked how fast this team went back to its 8-8 identity . The style of play , the mistakes, everything about this team is exactly like those 8-8 teams.

Even with Romo and Dez playing, this isn't a "strong" team. Strong teams/organizations find ways to win even in down times.....

We haven't done that, not even close......

I am surprised. I really thought the organization had turned the corner......and, I do think there are some good things .....but the product on the field is that 8-8 team hoping they can win, because other teams in the NFCE are down.....

Exactly. Been a great disappointment and slap to the face. I have watched a ton of other teams play this year, almost all the games. I see far more overall talent and roster depth on most teams.

Last year was about finally giving a great QB a complementary run game and overachieving.

What part of "we're just fans" don't some of you guys understand. It doesn't matter if you're a "doom and gloomer" or a "sunshine pumping homer" fans can't have a mentality because we don't play or have any outcome on the game.

Right the fans should sit at the game silent with a sad face and be a doom and gloomer. That would have no affect on the game.

What do they expect? This is not what anyone expected from the Dallas Cowboys.

As fans we dedicate three plus hours every week to this football team and its been a damn near twenty year Super Bowl drought. We've had some good seasons, but ultimately the main goal hasn't been achieved since 1995.

We all love this team, but it's absolutely sickening how many games we have given over the years. It's so incredibly frustrating. They break our hearts time and time again and yet we are still here every week.

Your slipping to the dark side Run. Be careful.

One can only imagine the crap that those fans were spewing in his direction as he approached the tunnel.... Anyway, he's right. We will run the east. He was just stating an eventual truth. Why are some of us so up in arms about this? Dez and Romo will both return soon and both will be playing with the biggest chips on their collective shoulders. All good IMO.

This is almost a blessing in disguise. Every other phase of our collective team is getting leaned on to raise their levels of play while our big dogs are out. Can you imagine the level of confidence that will permeate our locker room when we do get a W without Romo & Dez. It's coming soon folks. We will be that much stronger when they do return. Look out NFCE.
