Twitter: Garrett: McFadden named starter against Seattle

Thanks for posting WG...as always.

Most profound statement was Archer's "Joseph Randle's health..."

Oline looked back on track and hopefully we can run against Hawks. Still would love to get some insight as to whats going on at practice that Michael can't break single digits in carries.

Michael isn't that good. He didn't do anything with his carries save for one. McFadden deserves to be the starting back because he was productive with his carries.

Really unfortunate break for Randle. I think he would have had a big day last week had he not been injured. If the OL keeps blocking like they did, I think either back could perform very well. Not too impressed with Michael at this point.

Something is definitely up, I like Michael's running style better because he has balance. McFadden's balance was slightly better last Sunday, he managed to stay up right a second longer than he usually does.

What?? micheal isn't that good? what tape you be watching Michael is good and everybody wasn't all up on the Darren mccfadden bandwagon before...

I think C Mike is a good running back that needs more than 8 carries in three games. So saying that Michael is no good at this point reeks of an agenda, and is pointless.

With that said, I want to roll with McFadden until proven otherwise. Gotta go with the hot hand until the wheels fall off.

Randle is getting benched simply b/c JG doesn't like him.

What?? micheal isn't that good? what tape are you watching? on that one play I saw somegood things on my end I see the ability Michael is good and all im saying in the end is thatr from previous post before sunday everybody wasn't all up on the Darren mccfadden bandwagon ...

It's an easy call to make since he's injured and not practicing. I don't think McFadden has locked the starting position down for the year, yet. We'll see after Seattle.
The article said "regardless of injury."

JG plays favorites, and Randle isn't one of them.

C-Mike's ability is undetermined.

There is no "tape" of him being good with the Cowboys and his "tape" with the Seahawks was just average. If we're going back to college "tape" then McFadden is going to win that exercise and Randle was quite good in college.

On the flip side, there is no "tape" that proves he can't be good with the Cowboys.

It doesn't matter who starts, because of McFadden's injury history, C-Mike better be ready to go. Both will get plenty of carries by the seasons end.

There really is no proof either way with C-Mike. He has not proven anything but he also has not proven that he can't do it. He obviously has some physical talent but we've yet to see much of it in the NFL.

It seems that they don't trust him. They've kept him out of pass blocking situations up to this point other than a chip block on the DE that Tyron was blocking.

Michael isn't that good. There's a reason Seattle dumped him for nothing basically. He has shown nothing in Dallas. They gave him five carries and he didn't do anything with them to warrant more of a work load. McFadden just proved on Sunday that should continue to get more carries.
