I find it hilarious that people are complaining about a run on 3rd and 2.

A couple of years ago, we'd pass in that situation and the fan base was all up in arms about how we needed to run in such a situation .Now, we have spent 3 1st round draft picks on the OL, run it just like many of you wanted in years past, and couldn't convert.

At least when we were passing it back then, we had Romo throwing it. Now with Cassell, we are screaming for a throw.

Lol....

Did you see how crowded the LOS was? It was stupid to run the ball there

Yes. An entire 1.5 games back. Unless someone ahead of us runs away with the division then we might have a chance. Last year we won 6 of 7 to finish. Romo has an incredible record of late. Question is winning one or two of the games left before he returns. And we'll continue to need the ugly East to stay that way.

I love Tony but chances are he comes in a little rusty or gun shy. (cant blame him) So I still don't expect medicals even when he's back.

Dez was singlehandedly X'd out by Sherman and the rest of our motley crew couldn't shake coverage all day. Blame Cassel all you want but our receivers have been just as bad.

Bad decision not having butler active IMO. Street is a ghost out there.

Who cares what the media says 5 straight losses = bad team.

Good team w Romo
Bad team without Romo

There is absolutely no moral victories we lost 5 in a row like bad teams do.

Our definition of bad is different. With Romo we are a very good team. If all we are missing is one guy to win then we are, by definition, not a bad team. Plenty of talent on this team. Just proves the adage you can't win without a QB in this league.

I get the frustration but geez.

We don't have plenty of talent. The RKG depth of 53 myth has been shattered.

Very true. As I said earlier, we are in a crap division this year. Anything is possible. I stay optimistic but a loss to the Eagle I may need to reevaluate. There comes a time you have to consider if bringing a 60-70% QB back is worth it. I guess it depends on the games behind before Romo is back.

Nice post by the way.

No Romo will come back and they won't win enough to get to the playoffs but they will win enough to keep us from getting a top end draft slot.

Right, win just enough to get a mid draft pick.

I not care what the record says. They are crappy teams that Romo would have carved up. Worst case we should have of those games even without Romo. Average QB play should have won 3-4. This team lost to a bunch of scrub teams.

Romo didn't carve up the Giants the first time around. People don't want to acknowledge it but this offense didn't look that great even with Romo.

I'm almost at the save Romo until next season crowd. I would be if the division wasn't so bad.

Our trades were relatively minor, but have done next to nothing for the team.
Michael? Could of signed a guy off the street for his touches.
Butler? He has what, 2-3 catches?
Cassel? Looks just as bad as Weeden.

The worst possible scenario? We go 8 and 8, hardy signs with another team and we are left with a middle round draft pick and more 8 and 8 seasons to come.
