Hardy charges officially expunged

Attorney Chris Fialko really went into that Courtroom with guns blazing....

The word around Charlotte legal circles was that EVERYBODY wanted the Hardy case to go away. The DA cited the girls testimony as "not being credible" and the case was falling apart around them the longer it went on.

She bailed everybody out (pun intended) by taking that settlement and running.

The only person to whom this will matter is Hardy. Those that judge him a woman beater won't change their opinion because of this any more than those that have reserved judgment on him see this as the logical next step. Congratulations Kraken, the law loves you again but the media still hates you.

Even from public documents it was very clear his accuser had told two completely contradictory stories under oath and that because that was the only evidence, the DA had zero chance of getting a conviction in a jury trial.

And to beat the dead horse, Hardy's attorneys deny there was a civil settlement and the only evidence that there was one was the DA's speculation (which he had every reason politically to speculate about). And even if they did, a civil settlement has absolutely no impact on the criminal trial.

Didn't see it posted here yet..

Good for him.

The way it works is you are innocent until proven guilty.

Now let's move on.

Can we sign this guy before the season is over for the future?

Despite all the others on the DL we are trying to develop..

none of them play with the nasty streak Hardy plays with.

Football is not a dainty game.

And we have too many choir boys if you ask me.

Give me more men and less boys, thank you.

Glad to see the charges expunged.

Maybe some people will finally see the light, but I doubt it.

:clap::clap:

Do we see him go after the NFL for following guilty regardless of innocence protocol?

I could care less just throwing that out there.

It's couldn't care less, and he agreed to his suspension so he doesn't have anything to go after.
