I just ordered it. I wasn't sure if I was going to since I don't play games all that often, but OMG does it look kick bleeping ***!

Not a gamer but I played the original SW Battlefronts on XBOX back in the mid 2000's ( I think my XBox came with a Demo of the game) I'll get it, but in no hurry

For someone who's never played the series, can someone explain the key points of appeal? There are so many shooters on the market, is this just another shooter with a Star Wars skin slapped on or is it actually a unique game?

Have you watched the trailers? I don't play all that many games anymore, but I've not see one like this before.

same thing lol...except battlefield usually sucks. battlefield 4 was horrific.

I didn't buy BF4. I knew that was crap. I did on the other hand love BF2142, BF Bad Company 2, BF3 was inconsistent. It had some great parts, other things they just never got control of. CoD always felt like a cheap game compared to BF.

It's a Star Wars skin on the battlefield engine. Similar to battlefield 4.

Can someone please enlighten me....I just don't see anything in terms of quality/quantity of gameplay that warrants spending 50 bucks.
For 50 bucks why is this title worth it?

And I need an answer other than "star wars universe".

I asked a simple question that apparently is too much for some to answer, at least in a civil manner.

Does this game offer anything that the gazillion of the other shooters out there do not? Besides the Star Wars skins?

Now I don't play shooter games because I hate 1st person games but I know this game you can switch from 1st person to 3rd person on the fly. Not sure if the other gazillion shooter games do that?
