I'm not playing on a tiny screen lol. 65" Panasonic ZT60 FTW!

If the monitor is right in front of you, you don't need it to be 65". My monitors are 22.5", but you can get even bigger than that though for gaming that isn't necessary at all.

I've got a 55" 4K TV, but I still prefer my PC for gaming by a long shot.

My monitors have a 2ms refresh time. That is faster than today's video cards can even update the screen. The PC video cards are far far far more powerful than any console's video card. This is generally why games on PC look better than games on consoles unless the game was written for a console then cheaply ported to PC without graphic changes.

I have it and I've played it a bit here the first few days. It's a really great, really fun, multiplayer.

Right now.

The issue I'm having, as least playing the TDM style of game mode that I've been playing, is that I know within a month, maybe less, that mode will become unplayable.

The reasons being that the maps are SO HUGE, with only 20 vs 20 that the maps are a campers paradise. There are so many spots you can just sit back, aim around the huge map, and pick people off at really long distances and never move and have really great scores.

Now that's great, right now, when all the people running around continue to try and run around. At some point, in the not so distance future however these people are going to turn into campers as well.

And then the TDM mode will basically become CoD Ghosts TDM. Everyone will grow roots, camp a spot, and games will go to time limits with a 34-28 score. But like I said for now the game is so fun, and amazing.

I need to try the other game modes still, and maybe a few of those are set up in such a way that at least they'll remain playable for the long haul but as it stands right now there is no way that TDM will remain playable in the long run.

no aim down sight? I've been ADS'ing on almost every kill ive gotten.

I could be wrong but I think he means more traditional ADSing where you have either scope or your iron sites like you see in CoD.

There is ADS in this game but it doesn't function in the same way that the other games do, at least not from a visual standpoint.

I'm getting old.

I'm a console guy (sorry Sam :p ) and this is the first game that prompted me to upgrade consoles. I thought about Xbox One but decided and bought the PS4 on Tuesday. So I set it up the same day, downloaded the game, played as Vader in single mode for about a half hour, and... that's it. Years ago, I would've been obsessing over this game every waking, non-working moment. Now that sucker's gathering dust beside my PS3. Sad. Guess I'll pick up where I left off this weekend. :)

I like consoles for certain types of games. (fighting / sports)

What do you think of the PS4? I had a PS3, but my step son took it home with him and I never saw it again hah.

That's what was so great about the Quake mods. They created anti-camp mode where if you didn't move for say 5+ seconds, you would start taking damage until you moved or died. :)

I'll need more time with it for a honest assessment. I do love how the graphics of each generational machine improves dramatically. The PS4 is a huge leap over the PS3 in that department in my opinion. And I say that with admiration of the earlier console.

The 360 and PS3 stood the test of time. I got 9 years of entertainment out of my 360. It was also the first platform for Netflix streaming.

You've got company! Even the great games don't hold my attention like they used to. And I know it's not because they're not good - they are - it just seems that there's a change in me. I just can't get into them like I used to.

360 was a great console. I didn't get it till the last 3 years before the PS4/Xbox 1 came out but those 3 years were dang good with a ton of hours spent on it.

I got out of PC gaming back in the Battlefield 2 days, like around 2005ish. Once they went from AGP to PCI-E, my computer was out of date. Now you need the latest chipset, which requires a new motherboard. New motherboard requires new processor. Now, the RAM I had was out of date and the wrong format, and had to switch that.

With a console, you buy it once and it lasts a long time.

I stink at Battlefront. I run around with 3 or 4 different people, and I'm the one who gets picked off by some kid sitting behind a rock. Then, I target someone and shoot at them about 50 times, only to get picked off by them by one shot.

I kick butt in Advanced Warfare and OPs 3 online, but not Battlefront so far. My stat the other night was 4 kills and 36 deaths. Unreal.

BTW, I play on a BenQ gaming monitor and it looks beautiful.

The most interesting thing is the game makers still haven't figured out how to re-balance teams. I have been on the winning and losing team of games that are incredibly lopsided. They should auto-rebalance teams like the OpenSource games do. Winning or losing a team scoring 100 to 35 should NEVER happen.

For the longest time I played on a 19" Dell LED 1080P monitor. Had no problems with it at all. Had some unbelievable games in BF4 on it. Recently picked up a par of 27" samsung monitors, one of which is going to be my primary monitor for my computer and the other I will use mostly for gaming but also as a 2nd monitor for my computer. I like smaller screens for gaming because you don't have as much real estate to cover to check the minimap or other parts of your HUD.
