DeMarco went to Lurie with frustration about Chip’s offense

I hope Mattel is keeping a close eye on Demarco Murray's career. Forget about Barbie. They should consider making a line of Demarco dolls. The more expensive each doll is the more it waaaaahs.

Where do you think he learned that type of behavior?

What will be interesting to see is whether it has any effect on his playing time.

DeMarco is a good player. I'm still baffled as to why Philly signed him with Matthews and Sproles already on board. Even with Matthews' injury history, you could've found a much cheaper backup.

The behavior isn't isolated to this franchise. It happens across the league. Why it isn't reported more is a good question.

it likely is. but we're focused on the cowboys. if this were another player not formerly a cowboy, we'd probably not care enough to post in here about it.

did you hear what lamar smith did in miami????? :)

On First Take they were saying this morning that Lurie met with Murray on the plane on the flight back from Foxboro. They were not sure if Lurie asked to speak to Murray or vice versa.

The answer is simple. To screw the Cowboys. Doesn't realize he actually did us a favour

Leading rusher last year, Chip pays him like he would be a big part of the offense, Chip refuses to use Murray to his strengths.

Yeah, I'd be upset as well. It's funny, some of you guys here say he was only after the money. He's now showing he's not just about the money, he wants the ball and wants to help the team. But he's being criticized for that.

I guess only Dez is allowed to complain.

chess moves. to take a major piece of a dominant division rival away.

it seems to have worked. with Murray in our lineup we might not have had a Romo-less season.

chip made a lot of big risky moves.

most havent worked so far. this is the only one that worked in the fact that it helped weaken a division rival but added no direct strength to his team. maybe strength in subtraction as opposed to addition?

i agree though his style is not suited for that offense. i never thought it was. i knew it was odd to begin with.

Get up to speed around here. We MUST hate any player that leaves the Cowboys. No matter how well he played while here.

Nope. Was it scandalous? :p

I think that's a contributing reason but I think Murray's motivations beyond money are also suspect. I believe he could have landed a similar contract with a team outside the division. And signed it earlier than the one with the Eagles.
