Cowboys implement strict New Media Policy

That kid David Helman that works for Dc.com was tweeting plays that he saw at practice the other day and I thought it was strange he would do that. He said something like He just saw Lucky Whitehead run a play from the wildcat or a trick play that I'm sure the Coaching staff didn't want getting out to the public.

I'm glad they're locking Valley Ranch down from guys like Ed Werder. The Dez incident getting out like that was ridiculous. And of course once ESPN got a hold of it you can forget about it. National Breaking News.

It's guidelines for the media, not the players.

Meant media reporting about potential fights/arguments. But was confused initially about that aspect (guidelines) too; tks

I don't get why the media was allowed to take pics of everything when the team was 12-4, but when the team is 4-9 all of a sudden Valley Ranch has to be secured like its NORAD mountain.

This was all because of Jerry having to defend JGs emotions...

JJT reporting on Dez's contract all off-season and causes a fight a few weeks back, no change. JJT calls out Garrett and the schemes, shut it down...

Didn't one guy tweet out we were practicing a Fake punt last week?

But per Garrett, we practices everything 100s of times, including falling after getting a first down to run out the clock....

Hot rumor......More Jerry pics have surfaced.:omg:

When I first saw this thread, I naturally thought the organization was implementing a sensible policy to prevent inane, inflammatory, and embarassing comeents and photos by the owner and players. I should know by now that nothing is ever straightforward at VR and the more likely reason is to insulate players and coaches from legitimate criticism.

I think they're doing this because Moore is going to play this weekend and the coach doesn't want to talk about till after the game Saturday night.

That's just my guess.
