Kellen Moore era has begun

I'll admit, I felt like I was watching an NFL offense led by a NFL qb for the 5th time this season.

Im with you floaty ! lol many here dont like moore, but I see potential, maybe I am wrong, but glad to finally get the
chance to see him play.

At very least it will make the next 2 games more interesting.

For years I see people bash russel wilson too.

one thing I noticed was in the huddle he wasnt scared or nervous, and he seemed confident, and the int's did not rattle him.
he was quick on the throws and looked around instead of staring down one guy.

I'm sure you are right about arm strength, but I went back and watched the last throw and the ball traveled 50 plus yards in the air. How much arm strength does an NFL QB need not to be considered a noodle arm?

according to some , he has to throw it 100 yards or more to get out of the noodle arm bracket ! lol

I dont like that term, no one has a noodle arm .

I was excited to see what the kid could do. He performed as I expected he would.

He was better than Weeden and Cassell. I'm happy for the kid. He'll finally get his chance to show some stuff. I'm sure he had lots of rust to shake off, so it'll only get better.

He made the game exciting, and we had a chance to win. But scoring 16 points isn't going to beat even a college team.

He he came out on fire, scored 31 points, then I'd really be jumping up and down.

I was relieved to see him replace cassel. I felt that he was pretty accurate for the amount of pressure he had and I felt that he was able to fire the ball to the WR. He doesn't have a Chad Pennington arm! He can throw a ball 20-40 yards with some mustard so let's not exaggerate and say defenses are going to stack the box. Our run game looked great once Moore was dropped in the game.

There's lots of off broad way shows that open and close within weeks, the Moore show won't last any longer than that, small, no mobility, weak arm, not the answer for the Cowboys long term but there are Cowboys fans that get all enamored by the undrafted bench players!!

They did the right thing by putting him in. Hopefully they will do the same with some of these other young players. They have to start planning for 2016.

l think crowning the guy "King" or suggesting that he'll be operating the deep-fryer at McDonald's in two years is way overboard in either direction.

Give him first team reps and let's see how he looks over the next couple weeks.

The Kellen Moore era has begun.

I know the numbers don't look great. He made a couple bad INTs....Locking onto WRs... But for the first time all season...(Including when Romo was healthy)...the offense looked capable of moving the football.

Considering he had limited snaps during the week....Moore made quick decisions. Knew where to go w/ the football.

And maybe most importantly...gave the team a spark....and hope.

I can't see anything but positives going forward. Give Kellen this week to learn from his mistakes....and he will. All things considered....He probably got maybe 30 snaps during the week to get ready...which is nothing. Not bad for a guy getting his first NFL action against a playoff contender that was desperate for a win.

Haters are gonna hate.

But he inspired the team tonight. And for those that can't see that he has the "IT" factor just don't understand football.

And he didn't play in NFL for 3 years, if he got first team reps for few weeks, I believe he is a keeper

Can he throw it 50 yards? Yes. Does he have any idea where it's going when he does under pressure? No. Arm strength is as much about controlling trajectory as it is distance. That's why guys can control the ball better the shorter it goes.

Not gonna lie, I was impressed. Made fast decisions and was confident. Cassel is major gunshy, probably after his first 3 INT game, and the offense just crawls with him back there.

Moore spread the ball around, found Dez a lot, and some other positive things. At the very least, it gave us something to be interested in

I enjoyed the game once he came in but I don't think he can ever be a starter in the NFL. His throwing mechanics look like a 8 year old just starting to throw. It's his mechanics that don't allow much zip on the ball. I cannot believe no one has been able to correct his throwing motion because he looks like he has the goods upstairs as long as he figures out there is a backside safety. Given the chance to gameplan for him, nfl defenses will crowd the box to stop the run, sit on the short routes, and force him to complete deeper passes to move the ball. I don't think he will ever be able to do it consistently enough to win. All that being said, I look forward to watching him for the final few games. At least he could hit open receivers and give the team a chance each possession.

One thing I will say about Moore is that he wasnt afraid to make the throws after the first interception.

It kind of remind me of Romo first time officially replacing Bledsoe.

Slow your roll on this. The guy has a rag arm, can't run, is too short, and was playing a Jets team looking for a place to fold.

Clint Stoerner looked like the answer once against the Giants, then reality slapped the giddy face of those thinking he was the answer.

That was not the 85 Bears, or the (pick your year) Patriots, or the 92 - 93 Cowboys he faced.
