Who thinks Romo makes it through next season without any injuries?

It's going to be tough as I think many of his injuries are chronic at this point. He's been lucky to avoid injuries to his knees, but constant rib, back and shoulder injuries will get the best of anyone.

Not if he's going to keep trying to spin out of trouble all the time and extend his arm to brace himself when he gets caught. He has to learn how to be tackled. That sounds crazy but both injuries this year happened the exact same way. I think he can play a whole year but I highly doubt he has more than 2-3 years left. It's time to find his replacement and let him develop until the day he gives the team a better chance to win than romo.

How many would have thought McFadden would make it through this year without injury?

Appreciate what your saying but it's apples and oranges. I think he has less than 20% chance of playing the whole season. Pulling muscles and hamstrings is one thing. Broken shoulders and back injuries another.

I think some of it is the back injury. Anybody that has hurt their back knows its the sudden jolts or impact that really bother a bad back. IMO Romo was kinda rolling as he was getting sacked to lessen the blow on his back. Its something that you just do naturally, w/o even thinking about it once you've had back issues.

Need to draft OL in first 4 rounds. Have 8 OL, Dez and a RB, probably DMC. Max protect Tony...that is about the only way to protect him.

I think shoulder is issue more than back. Twice in one year and even with full healing I think there will be a soreness everytime he is swung down on it or gets landed on awkwardly. Would not trust a full season at this point. Have to have a year line 2014 with a bell cow back to take load off.

I think he can and more importantly, I do think he can come back next season and still look like his old self and perform great. I don't think the injuries are such that they will kill his mobility in the pocket, hurt his arm strength, etc.

But, that's not a good reason to not draft a QB in the first round. Simply because another injury could very well be the end for Romo and we would be better off with a QB in place that has the talent along with some preseason experience in place. Maybe by the time Romo turns 37 years old he is still a productive player, but it would be more feasible for us cap wise to get Romo off the books and startt he young QB who is ready to go.

Romo's best days are behind him. That is all we need to know. This team that Jerry concocted, simply can not win without Romo at his best..... truth hurts, back to the drawing board.. ...again.........

Drafting a QB in the 1st round just because Romo is on the tail end of his career is well, dumb.

If there's a guy that we truly think can be a franchise QB, then go for it. But please don't force it.
