Pic that CBS sports put on their Facebook page

No matter the picture they show the numbers don't lie. It's not this years injuries alone that lead to that .500 record over that time span

No maybe not but that IS the story of this year. I really don't care what happened back when Quincy Carter and Troy Hambrick were our starters. This team won 13 games last year and to sit here and ignore and pretend like this team wasn't a 13 win team last year is ridiculous. You sucked this year. Get to the bottom of it and get it back on track. It should start with this playbook and coaching.

This sounds like Jerry Jones overvaluing our talent and thinking we are 1 player away ... then he gives up a kings ransom in poor player evaulation to get that ONE player aboard.

There are NO excuses. We are a 4-12 team. We are what we are. Please do not use the injury excuse. Every team in the NFL faces the same issues.

We've won 2 playoff games in the past 20 years. That must tell you something about who's running the team.

This I can agree with, only for this year, but we sure can blame the HC, we were the worst team in the league since week 2, let that sink in, yes we had very important injuries but so did the Steelers, Texans, Broncos, Chiefs, Colts, Packers, Seahawks and many other teams, but they all find ways to win some games, and that starts with coaching.

I agree with it. I can fault Jerry and Jason for being too reliant on Romo and Dez but I can't fault Jerry for this 4 win season. Romo was 3-1. I can't overreact about how this season went when Romo was healthy we were 3-1 and this team was in nearly every game this year and couldn't get a key stop or a key TD in the 4th quarter.

Laughing stock of the league.....nobody cares about Cleveland, Jax, or Miami.....We stink and brunt of self-infliction

No i'm not saying give up or that you're 1 player away but you are far closer to what you were last year than you are a 4 win team. Whether that's 10 wins or whatever it may be. Don't give up a kings ransom on anything. Draft the best player available unless its a linemen and keep it moving. They are in a position to where they can draft any position and it will be a upgrade to this team. Its not about overvaluing the talent its about not overreacting to this season.

Who's feeling sorry? We have a inept GM/owner who wants to win it HIS way. The only thing he's done on his own is create a .500 team. I'm quite proud of that #4 pick.

Thanks for the reminder! I haven't yet thanked Jerry today for the 3 Super Bowl rings he was awesome enough to help us win!

And only 7 teams have gone longer without going to the Division Championship game.

If you are not winning playoff games, who cares how many regular season wins you have?

You can't get into the playoffs without winning any regular season games.....

Jerry had a big smile in the booth. Who cares the money keeps rolling in for America's Team.

I understand but what is your angle here? That they're the 8th best team in the league since 2005?

That they 8th in wins since 2005, and only had 1 losing season during that span and were able to rebuild a playoff team on the fly and would've had back to back division titles had their franchise qb not missed 3 quarters of the season.

Carry on with your .500 agenda, self pity party!

There's a agenda. What on earth does it matter what we did 20 years ago? This team when healthy was a 13 win team but people are talking about what we did when NONE of these guys but Jerry were here? So the 5 win team is the true team and no the 13 win team we had last year?

They are not getting into the playoffs though, and certainly not winning when they do.

Jerry has this team just good enough to constantly get mid to late round picks, but not good enough to build a team that can actually win anything. Worse, there is no accountability at all. Any NFL GM that had gone 20 years with 2 playoffs wins would have been fired several times over. Ours just starts blabbing about what he needs next year to be (probably) mediocre again.

And wait until Romo is gone...

What as the excuse last year with 13 wins?

Jerry signed off based on what his scouts and coaches told him. He didn't shove Weeden down their throats. This isn't Jerry's playbook or his conservative defense. But Jerry doesn't escape blame. I just believe he paid people rather well and no one fulfilled their potential and if that's all on Romo then we might as well make Romo GM and Head Coach as well.

It all falls on Jerry he signs off on the players and the coaches. After every bad season he says it all starts with him because he's the owner/GM. If he doesn't like the plays or the conservative approach he can have it changed or hire someone who will change it. He fired Chan Gailey because he wouldn't change the offense.

Well there's a decade more to choose from. And as far as I'm concerned Jerry gave an incompetent coach the keys to the franchise. So when our QB went down we weren't able to win despite multiple opportunities to do so.
If there was EVER going to be a season that your coach helped you pull through it would be this type of season, where the conference sucked and in week 11 we were still in the hunt with a losing record.
Coaching sucked, I'd say we should've been prepared with a decent backup but I think we had one. We just didn't have a coach that knew how to use him. So yeah that's a Jerry thing IMO

There's 2 years to chose from as well and last year we had 13 wins......

Hmmm playoff wins and Super Bowls are what matters to me most so carry on with your 8th most regular season wins since 2005 narrative!

So what would you have done if you were the GM last season after this team had won 13 games? What would you have done any different?
