From BR so take it with a grain of salt, but Jason Cole is a pretty reliable reporter (or maybe not, I've heard mixed reports on him.)

Sources say that besides the drama surrounding him and the fact that he was late to team meetings, he also "partied throughout the season" and the Cowboys didn't like that he never got into great shape.

I can live with it. Would put Bosa into the mix at 4 if he slid because Wentz and Goff went off the board in the first 3 picks.

Also, love me some Noah Spence in the 2nd but I suspect he'll slide into the first round by draft time.

Sorry but anything with Jason Cole's name attached is a turd. He's about the farthest thing from a "reliable reporter. That's not to say that the Cowboys won't re-sign Hardy, but I'll wait until someone with some credibility reports it.

Jason Cole. Pshhh.

After a turbulent first year in Dallas, it appears Greg Hardy's days as a Cowboy are coming to an end.

Will the Cowboys part ways with the talented yet troubled defensive end?

Watch Bleacher Report NFL Insider Jason Cole discuss Hardy in the video above.

Good riddance. He didnt pan out anyway.

Personally, I'll be glad if he's gone. He was a head case and not worth the money he was going to demand. And I got tired of the cameras panning on him on the sidelines all the time just to remind the audience that we were employing a scumbag like him. Use that money to bring in another vet like Mario Williams if possible. Hardy isn't fit to wear the Star imo.

I'll tell you a guy I'd be all over to replace Hardy who could come at a decent price.

Vinny Curry in Philly, who didn't fit in Philly in a 304. But it seems with the new coaching staff in place and moving to a 4-3, resigning him is a big priority.

I don't think it's a surprise.

I kept thinking, "OK Hardy is going to get his head on straight..."

And.... no.

Use the money to sign Mario Williams or Ware if they become available.

I agree use the money to get Mario Williams is a no brainer if he becomes available.

DeMarcus Ware, I would pass on. Except for a very team friendly contract.

His partying was supposed to be why he wasn't more effective than he was throughout the season. Also, why he was late to many meetings and mandatory group attendances.
