So when I was watching the big boys on Sunday (My pet cat Butler did not do so well). Someone who caught my eye was Joshua Perry - OLB. Thought he looked good in the 40, and smooth in all the drills I watched. If we keep Lee and McClain, any way we could pick him in say 3rd-4th round as our SAM ?

BTW, Alexander's been dead and buried to me for some time. After that stunt, he's dead, buried, exhumed and re-buried in a much cheaper casket in like the ugliest part of the cemetery. That spot where the grass doesn't fill in right and is not really maintained.

Watch'em.

He'll start suggesting the Cowboys take a CB at #4.

Who is the one player that most changed your opinion of him for the better at the Combine? If any.

What's it going to be then, eh?

I am still on the Butler bandwagon, he is a player. His play is hard to dispute.

I was already a fan of Williams Jackson, but was a.) disappointed that he measured in at 6'0 as opposed to 6'2 like he's listed at and b.) surprised he ran a sub 4.4 40 time. I think he's no longer in play at 34, which sucks.

You shouldn't be off of it.

If you think he looks bad in the drills, just watch him play some more to feel exactly as you did before the Combine.

I liked Doctson before but now think he has a shot to be a number one WR. Even more athletic than I thought.

Yea, I had a list of guys who I hoped would be there at 34 for a BPA pick, like Jackson III, Doctson and Rankins. But I'm pretty sure all 3 are going in the first. I still like Henry, but was hoping he'd fall to the late second. Tennessee may target him, which would be a mistake if u ask me. Not the type of RB I'd pair with Mariota, but it seems like the type of move they would make.

I didn't think Shaq Lawson was as athletic as he showed. I thought his bookend teammate was going to out shine him in the workouts.

Bosa just had a Cole Beasley-like meltdown on Twitter responding to his "critics." He deleted the tweets by now but not a good time to do something like that

I've said for months this kid is a fraud...on the field and off.

I'd like to address the nonsense that some of you keep spewing about Connor Cook. I have season tickets to MSU and he NEVER had one single issue at MSU off the field the 5 years he was on campus. He was the epitome of a great QB and great teammate. Todd McShay started the BS about him a couple months ago: "there's smoke there but I can't say what it is" Gutless innuendo by a guy who isn't respected ONE bit in the NFL community of scouts and front office personnel. If you don't believe me, then listen to Cook's teammates:

http://www.detroitnews.com/story/sp...su-teammates-defend-cooks-character/79424524/

If you read the above article, you see a comment in there by Mike Mayock about Cook "skipping" the Senior Bowl. Anyone and everyone in CFB knows the kid hurt his shoulder quite badly midway through the season vs. Maryland. He missed a couple games including the OSU game that MSU won on the last play of the game. The shoulder wasn't right the rest of the season and everyone knew it. I lost a lot of respect for Mayock who kept up with the same nonsense about Cook right through the combine. He won 34 games in 3.5 seasons of starting at MSU and was one helluva great Spartan on and off the field. Again, don't listen to me but listen to his teammates. This time backup QB Tyler O'Connor:

http://michiganstate.247sports.com/Bolt/OConnor-says-critics-of-Cook-have-no-clue-44002268

ALL of his coaches including Mark Dantonio have echoed these sentiments. The last one I'll leave is by Bennie Fowler, WR on the Broncos. No one knows where or why this narrative began but in the state of MIchigan a lot of this starts on the east side of the state. The Detroit media is forever in love with the University of MIchigan and they yearn for the good old days. Since Dantonio has shown up, he's blown their entire fragile mind set apart again and again. He's 7-2 against Michigan and 36-5 his last 3 seasons. The hit and run on Cook has been a total fabricated smear job and someone mid-late first round will get a helluva prospect. The people saying he'll slide to 3rd or 4th round are mistaken IMO but who knows. This is the league that took Brady in the 6th round....Aaron Rodgers at the END of the first round and missed on Tim Couch, Akili Smith, J. Harrington, Dan McGwire, Andre Ware,Heath Shuler,Tim Couch, David Carr....and a host of others.

Bennie Fowler just won a Super Bowl with Denver and he said that Cook will be a great QB in the NFL:

http://www.mlive.com/spartans/index.ssf/2016/01/denver_broncos_wr_bennie_fowle.html

I'll take the word of his teammates, former teammates and coaches over Todd McShay or Mike Mayock any day of the week. IF he fails it won't be because of his character of lack thereof. He's cocky and very sure of himself and that absolutely rubbed some members of the media in MIchigan the wrong way.
