Joseph Randle arrested for failure to appear in court

Sun 9:57 AM, Mar 06, 2016

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — Former Dallas Cowboy's football player Joseph Randle has been arrested this morning for failure to appear.

A Sedgwick County sheriff's deputy confirms that Randle was brought into the jail after 1 a.m. Jail records show he is being held on a $150,000 bond.

Randle was released on bond last Tursday after an arrest on Feb. 21. The 24-year-old allegedly hit three people with his car and then forced his way into a home.

He is charged with four counts of aggravated battery, and one count each of criminal threat, criminal damage to property and possession of marijuana in connection to that case. The deputy could not confirm whether Sunday morning's arrest is connected.

Randle has been arrested six times in the past 17 months.

I just hate saying this but, it confirms how bad our scouting and coaching staff really is, doesn't it?

It really does. He should have been canned after the underwear incident, especially since he threw Dez under the bus in jail.

Everyone keeps saying he has some sort of mental illness. I don't agree; I think he's just stupid.

I know a few people are "just stupid". None of them have ever been arrested 6 times in 17 months. But I get it. It's easier for many to dismiss something they don't understand and put a label they can understand on it.

Either way...it's sad.

Not at all. He's got a deteriorating mental condition. This is a sad story.

Jerry talked about his situation and about the team's general approach to these sorts of problems quite a bit last week. It was a rambling interview, but worth listening to if anybody really cares about how the team views its responsibility to players in situations like these.

he was a head case should of been cut after the underwear and cologne arrest. if you are around player twenty four seven and you cant tell his mental state then yes there is misjudgement.

I would hope this helps get the Cowboys out of the rehab and rescue business.
