You expected me to bathe in the glory very long?

{With the fourth choice in the 2016 NFL draft, the Dallas Cowboys select, Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State}

Me: How on earth are we going to get his reps split so he can get experience???

Wentz Wednesdays!

From my die hard Eagle friend about Thorton. He's a season ticket holder.

"Rotational player for us. Didn't have a lot of sacks but was disruptive. It's a solid signing for cowboys"

What's it going to be then, eh?

Same thing over and over. Talking about wastes of money. This player is not "worth this".

It is all about the player. As silly as the cap has become, it is probably smarter to start thinking in different ways.

You have an issue with Thornton, the player?

Also Thursday, the Cowboys reworked the deal of defensive tackle Tyrone Crawford, opening up nearly $4.4 million in cap space.

The Cowboys turned $5.5 million of Crawford's scheduled $6.75 million base salary into a signing bonus, dropping his cap number from $8.75 million to $4.36 million in 2016. It adds $1.1 million in proration to the deal through 2020.

The Cowboys signed Crawford to a five-year, $45 million extension last September and structured it in a way for this to happen.

So just to add on I just texted one of my friends who is a diehard iggles fan who lives there as well. I asked him if Thornton was a good signing

Yes not happy to see him with a star on his back
Very underrated

All came down to money. I mean we had to overpay chase freakin Daniel

He put his punctuation in the middle of his sentence. And a question mark at that. He's just thinking? outside box

When teams needed to run on the Cowboys, they ran! When teams needed to pass on the Cowboys, they passed! The Dallas Cowboys give the teams they play the option of providing little resistance in the running and passing game and even on special teams! The just flat out sucked! Lol!:-(

I don't feel they wasted money on this player. He improves the run defense and he will keep olinemen off of Sean Lee and Ro.

This signing is what this team needs and why teams like the Pats do well. Find good role players in free agency and get your star players through the draft.
