They are no different in terms of future prospects than Dallas is.

And their QB does not have a collarbone that could detonate at any time.

I'd take Romo without a collarbone over Flacco every day of the week. I actually think Flacco is one of the worst starting QBs in football outside of your situations in Cleveland and Houston. And the rest of our roster blows away Baltimore's. Name one wide receiver on that team outside of 40 year old Steve Smith... and they have no running back, their o-line is good but not in the same league as ours, they've lost most of their studs on defense since their super bowl year.

I know we have aa lot of holes but I definitely think our roster is comfortably better than Baltimore's. For now and the future.

Our roster may be better but their Front Office with Ozzie and their Head Coach get more productivity from their players. Swap rosters and they would dominate the AFC every year.

Good. Wanted no part of him unless he came with one of these:

Ouch. What a bad decision by Weddle. That Baltimore team is going nowhere fast.

As opposed to this team? Sorry, but history suggests that the Ravens organization is far more competent than the Cowboys. Watch this team that "is going nowhere fast" be more competitive than the Cowboys this year. Just watch. And then realize we have had a borderline HOF quarterback starting for this team for the last 10+ years, most of which has been under a very team-friendly contract...and we haven't done squat with that good fortune. Recognize that.

He was a guy I thought we'd have a lot of interest in. But I can't say I regret not meeting that contract number. It's a reasonable deal for him, but I'd rather see us continue to look for good deals only in FA.

Pretty pricey for a player his age

What was the Patriots' record the year that they lost Brady for the entire season? They went 11-5, with the same quarterback that this team couldn't win with, Matt Cassel.

Some teams have coaches who can adjust, create, and compensate. We don't.

That team was 1 year removed from going 16-0 in the regular season best record of all time. Little bit of a different situation

But isn't this supposed to be a '12-4 team' that was 'one blown call' away from being in the NFC Championship?

I just know I've heard people saying it.
