I like Drake's versatility and I'm not worried about his injuries.

Dixon or that kid from Oregon might fit best if Dunbar can't make it back as the scatback.

I think Dixon could surprise some people with where he gets drafted. I'm not going to be surprised at all if he's the 2nd RB taken in the draft. At this point I'm hoping for something like Goff/Wentz, Bullard/Dixon, Booker/Blair.

I like Morris. I really do. And he's a great dude. Solid signing.

But man... I really wanted Elliott.

Wentz, Goff, Ramsey or Bosa will be a Cowboy. It's incredibly hard to narrow it down any more than that right now though. If they bring the QBs in for visits though, you probably have to have them at the top of the list.

The scary part is that both Ramsey and Bosa are pretty sure things -- they will be at least productive at the next level. The QB thing is a total crap shoot. I think it's Ramsey first, Bosa next. If both gone, maybe Myles Jack or a trade back with a QB-hungry team.

McFadden is not a better pure runner than Morris. Particularly between the tackles. But he is more versatile.

The fraud label comes from those thinking he's a good starting RB. He is not.

He is not I agree. Neither is Morris. Both are VERY avg

Don't forget about the kid from Utah Devonte Booker is also an option for the team.

Oh yeah. I will be pissed if the Cowboys do not try and get better at RB in this year's draft. Time to get young and become a threat once again at the RB position.

I agree. Doesn't mean no RB between 3-5 rounds though.

Think there's some quality there to look at still beyond the 1st 2

I agree. I never thought we'd take Zeke in the first and there's a chance Henry would be gone before the 34th pick or we liked someone else at another position better.

I still think we take a RB in the 3rd or with one of our 4ths. Also know that next year's RB class is loaded.

I think if they bring in all 3 of Wentz, Goff and Lynch for vistits, one of them will be a Cowboy

That's...insane. I wouldn't hold your breath on Zeke or Henry, this signing guarantees we go in a different direction at #4.

not insane...well it will be an insane running attack...with this OL, the defensive coordinators will go insane...

This fan will willing watch a running back group of McFadden, Morris, and Dunbar. Add a solid back via the draft...heck yea.

Great signing, this will help us sustain our drives and protect Romo. Better to have a good stout vet back there than a rookie when your QB can be one hit from being out of the game. I like the rotation their going for here along with the chance to ride the hot hand, if healthy these backs can keep our defense fresh simply by helping out TOP.

This also keeps us from reaching for another position and keeps us in position to take BPA in the draft.

Morris has a career YPC of 4.4. And that includes last year's 3.7 bringing his average down.

Only 27 years old. Behind this O-Line. Hard worker. Cheap deal.

It's hard not to like this signing.

Might get a young guy later but even that's debatable. I think it's McFadden, Morris and Dunbar. And you know what? I like it. Guys with two different styles, but both can be efficient behind this line. Both are reliable in pass protection too, which is a vastly underrated skill, especially when you have a Romo back there.

I like the signing. I don't want to spend a draft pick this year on RB with the vets available. Next year we can harvest from that bumper crop. Still interested in Blount.
