 The attached link is to a letter written from Steven Yeun to Robert Kirkman and actually published in TWD letters section after issue #100.

Steven Yeun said:
You're the antithesis of a cool guy. You're like the Aqualad of Young Justice. You're like the TI-80s of all TI calculators. You are the stupid murder storyline in season two of Friday Night Lights (he should have gone to jail).

Rick wouldn't have got himself and his group this far in this messed up world if he were that careless. Of course he's not going to barrel through. Stop with the dumb argument.

They didn't know Rick's group was going to the Hilltop until the Winnebago came up on them the first time... when they had the guy laying in the road. Rick has obviously got Negan's attention and Negan has put out a standing order to his people that If you come across the Alexandrians, drop everything and alert Negan. Negan most assuredly directed his people to do the rest. There are only a few places worth going by road. That particular road is the most direct road to the Hilltop. Cut that off you can easily figure all other alternate routes to the Hilltop with a map. With manpower and communications you can cut those other routes off. Negan had all those things so it wasn't hard to do what was done. No patience was required. You are over thinking what it required to track Rick's group.

Your argument is the asinine one, again, they dont know what Rick would or would not do....And so you agree they didnt know Rick was goin to Hilltop until that first time they saw the Winnebago, so what was their original intent? waiting for a different group and then plans changed once they somehow deduced Rick must be going to Hilltop? Youre clearly not thinking enough, maybe youre just not capable....

or maybe he's 12, bored, and this is how he gets his kicks.

in any event, he loves to pick a fight and then play the victim. this is how i've learned he doesn't do well when his "logic" is put back on him.

Last night they already had footage on youtube where someone had went in, slowed down the audio, cleaned it up, and enhanced the screaming and the people talking in the background that sounds muffled and under water when you watch it normally.

The audio that is being passed around the internet already seems to pretty clearly point to it being Glenn because you can clearly say him saying Maggie, in a very pained like he's going out kind of way. Much like in the comic book. There is a couple of times when it sounds like Maggie is absolutely screaming Glenn and even one point where it sounds like a guy (Possibly Abraham) is saying Glenn.

If this audio is good (Who knows if it is or not) for them to get something like that up and out in barely 24 hours should be the most telling sign to the people writing these TV shows that stupid *** cliffhangers will not work. If they got something like this in barely 24 hours wait until someone has 2 weeks or a month to work with the audio.

So stupid that they ever thought they'd be able to keep something like this secret.

The way things are today... There is NO WAY that I believe that audio is in there.

As for the other thing... If they reveal a mole in next season will people calm down about the improbability of the being on all roads to stop Rick and gang? Lol

It did seem like Negan meant we called a "career day" emergency meeting when we heard you were going from point A to point B because Maggie needed hilltop doc visit.

Did you even watch the episode? They showed you what they were doing before the Winnebago rolled up on them. They were tracking down and catching that unfortunate librarian dude that they eventually hung at the overpass. Spotting Rick and reporting it to Negan changed their day plans.

That was a crazy scene.

Road block.
Set it on fire.
Throw guy over.
Hang 'me high.
Shoot the chain? No, don't bother.

Crazy good.

"We need the bullets".... yes crazy good!

It was laughable at that point. (It showed his "Rick F-everybody-side")
He was being toyed with.
He knew he was serenely outnumbered and wasn't winning THIS battle.

That rocket launcher sure would have came in handy.

They would have needed many... And... They would have had their 6? Cut down to 2 probably.

Did you? They clearly caught that guy to show Rick what he was in for. The guy even said that everyone at the library was dead so Negans's group had no need for this guy as an "employee" anymore he was going to be used as an example...or really, a preview of coming attractions...of what happens when you cross Negan.

They act like it is our fault that they set the whole thing in Urban DC while filming in GA.

Why even say they are in Alexandria if they want rolling hills and farmland? They could have picked a million other places. There is no way to blockade an area like Northern Virginia with walkie-talkies and 200 men.

At least try to be reasonable. A mole makes even less sense. "oh that guy inside Alexandria that no one talks to has been working with Neegan this whole time and knows Rick's plans even though he has never talked to him or left the compound. But he is the super spy or maybe Enid.

It clearly shows by his statement that they knew Rick was coming.
They not only knew, they knew that he would try that road first.

The guy who Ricks group took from the Hilltop, not Jesus, could very well be a mole. Or with the force Negan has at his disposal he could easily have dedicated a few people to keep eyes on them at all times.

OK... here's a new perspective. It's not one I came up with, but boy it makes sense...

"It was Glenn that got the bat during the show, leading up to Negan, there were black POV shots throughout the episode. it was the victim's prospective in the back of that van waiting for something to happen. When the doors finally opened the prospective changed from POV to show Daryl and company tied up and filed out to join rick.

Glenn was the last one out - it was his prospective looking out at the back of the van.

The episode was called last day on earth, so it was Glenn's last day on earth and we the viewers got to see what it was like from his shoes."

The only one acting like it was his last day on Earth was Eugene.

So you think they knew where Rick was going ahead of time? I don't see how.
