If you guys go back and look at my post since 2003, maybe 2004- I forget. It has always been drafting a RB(not Felix Jones a career backup in college). We finally had a RB, He gained 1800+ yards, we go 12-4, and basically one play away for a chance at the SB against Seattle, we let him go 4-12 (granted Romo and Dez got hurt)...

This is my pitch to grab Zeke at #4.....
I can go on and on why we should draft Zeke @ 4 but I will let you guys chime in....

You advocate for drafting a RB at 4 and use Murray (a 3rd round pick) as your example?

This is a very serious question, all jokes aside!

I have been with this site for 12+ years I believe. For Christ sake my own flesh and blood was drafted here(Kevin Burnett) and I have been a Boyz fans since I can remember.

I remember 1985 when Drew Pearson came on my street in LA visiting whomever. I do remember getting his autograph and catching every pass that came my way. How do I remember it was 1985? Because I lived in that apartment my 5th grade year only. That's how!

I have my own agenda. But my agenda has always been in favor of the Cowboys.

Quick story- 1996- we just won the SB, I told my uncle we will draft Randy Moss! He said "Dean, you crazy, y'all won't be drafting high enough to get Moss!"

2 years later we pass on Moss. HOF'er.

I have my own agenda and that is to draft Zeke.

37 and all in for Zeke...but it would be a heck of alot more ideal if they could trade back and still get Zeke.

50 and vaguely remember Obriens kick but remember the first championship. Cried when George Allen beat us in 72...both losses to Steelers...all NFC Championship losses in the 80s....the loss to niners in 90's that kept us from a 3 peat... cried when Staubach retired and Jimmy left. Funny how we remember the losses more than the wins.

Im 40...You may have been here longer than 12 years...if you click on your name or avatar it says member since '04....however that is when this forum switched to the current format and we all had to re-register, there are quite of few from 04 if you look at everyone. This forum has been around a long time... I couldve been very happy with Zeke (especially with a trade back for an extra pick), but I dont think its going to happen. I could be happy with a QB in the 1st too, but I dont think its going to happen either.

46 and a fan since '77. My all time favorite Cowboys game? The '92 NFC Championship at waterlogged Candlestick. We win 30-20 in a game I did not think 'Boys would win. Thought we were still a year away, but that is by far the most satisfying win for me as a Cowboys fan. Plus I was 22 then and could celebrate it properly! And the most heartbreaking loss, of course, was The Catch. Which is also why 30-20 was so sweet. Finally got them back for Montana to Clark.

45 in May...

First Memories:
SB win over Denver... the first game I ever remember watching.. still a kid
2nd SB loss to Pitt... I remember too much from this game... more than I'd like to.
Last minute win over the Commanders to win NFC East... Staubach to Tony Hill!!!!
Loss to Rams in playoffs... I remember we scored a Safety... but lost 21-19, I think... and, of course, the trivia question, Herb Scott with Staubach's final completion.
Then three consecutive NFC Championship losses.... but I remember a lot of wild & crazy games during those three years... They were fun to watch!

So, the first six years of my fandom was built on the thinking that "my team is going to be there every year, or at least really close".

Watched first game Cowboys vs Rams when I lived in Guam 1980.

The Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders had me at hello!

I'm 47. Been a Cowboys fan my whole life. I see the logic in drafting a RB in the first. Dorsett and Emmit were great backs and all time great rushers. The game has changed. QB play is soooooooo important now. This team has many holes. We could draft QB, RB, DE or CB or even LB and could understand the decision why. We are drafting thus high for a reason. I hope they make the right choices to help the team this year and years to come.

Too bad we missed the first two SBs.

There's an almost new Road King SE for sale at the dealership. I've got my first Honda Goldwing and its definitely not my kind of bike but the Admiral is tolerating it after complaining of the loud pipes on my last Road King.

52 and growin... Grew up in Joisey but in Fla now.
Hated and still do hate the Giants mostly because they were called NY and NJ is where they played. But that wasn't until later on in life I guess because to tell the truth I don't remember much about football back then except for when the Boys played (and lost) to the Steelers, which is why I still don't like them either... lol
