I'm 43.

The arrogant 23 year old me would have laughed in your face if you'd told him that the Boys would go through such a championship drought. I feel bad for the new fans who have never known what it's like to watch a team that is a consistent contender and sometimes champion.

34. Only been a fan since '08 so seen more average/bad than good. Liked Aikman et al back in the day but was never really massively into it as we only got a highlights programme a week after the games.

43 and I still remember the years of the triplets like it was yesterday. I love me some Romo, but the last 20 years have been brutal. I now have a 10 year old son that is a diehard Cowboys fan because of me, and sometimes I feel sorry for him. He only knows losing and heartbreak. But we live in the DC area so what was I gonna do? Let him become a skins fan???!! Not if he wants to live in my house. One day our team will win it all again, and it will be the best father-son moment of my life.

CowboysZone LOYAL Fan
Agreed. I was at a NYG game in Jersey a couple years ago and there were 2 20 year old dallas fans in front of me celebrating every good play and some old Giant fan called them bandwagon fans. I told him I've been a fan since 75 and saw 4 of the 5 championships. These kids have never seen them be good, what bandwagon are they jumping on? He said. That's true good point. Became a fan at 8 years old. 41 years ago.

I dislike this thread. I thought I was 38 and then while reading I remembered I am 39 now.

I want a QB with #4.

I'm forty-eleven. I've been a fan since 1971. My parents have been fans since the inaugural season in 1960.

I'm 40, became a Cowboys fan when for my first winter coat in cold New York, my father got me a Cowboys parka. I thought it was sweet as hell. Until I got teased, being in Giant country. I'm pretty sure the coat didn't sell too well and was on discount. That was when I was starting kindergarten... But been a cowboys fan since then.

This is a very serious question, all jokes aside!

I have been with this site for 12+ years I believe. For Christ sake my own flesh and blood was drafted here(Kevin Burnett) and I have been a Boyz fans since I can remember.

I remember 1985 when Drew Pearson came on my street in LA visiting whomever. I do remember getting his autograph and catching every pass that came my way. How do I remember it was 1985? Because I lived in that apartment my 5th grade year only. That's how!

I have my own agenda. But my agenda has always been in favor of the Cowboys.

Quick story- 1996- we just won the SB, I told my uncle we will draft Randy Moss! He said "Dean, you crazy, y'all won't be drafting high enough to get Moss!"

2 years later we pass on Moss. HOF'er.

I have my own agenda and that is to draft Zeke.

If you guys go back and look at my post since 2003, maybe 2004- I forget. It has always been drafting a RB(not Felix Jones a career backup in college). We finally had a RB, He gained 1800+ yards, we go 12-4, and basically one play away for a chance at the SB against Seattle, we let him go 4-12 (granted Romo and Dez got hurt)...

This is my pitch to grab Zeke at #4.....
I can go on and on why we should draft Zeke @ 4 but I will let you guys chime in....

I am 41 years old. I remember crying when Roger Staubach Retired. I agree we never should have passed on Moss. It would have prolonged Troys and Play Makers Career (although a freak accident took him out). That being said.I would not draft Zeke at 4. I would trade out of the pick before doign that. If you could trade down to 15 and and get the Rams 2 2 all in the top 12. You do that ALL DAY LONG. I personally love CJ Procise as a 3rd round pick.
