Browns trade Eagles #2 overall pick

Wow the Eagles screwed their future on a QB that will most likely just be an average QB. :lmao2:

Since the Eagles were the main threat to take Zeke, I wonder if we could trade down to 8 with the Browns or to 9 with the Bucs (before the Giants pick at 10, basically) and still get Zeke. If we can drop 4 or 5 spots and still pick our guy, while picking up a 2nd rounder in the process, that would be outstanding.

But if that QB doesn't bust out and Romo is done in 2-3 years, we just cemented ourselves to getting our brains beat in by the Eagles while we scuffle around for a QB like we did in the early 2000s.

How do you figure? It's out of our hands. There's no guarantee that we could have done anything about it. Even if we had made an offer, the Browns/Rams didn't have to choose us. Or our offer may not have been good enough. Or if it was, someone could have bettered it. It's out of our hands.

And we've been an 8-8 team for a long time with a good QB that hardly was beating anybody's brains in. Just because they get a solid starter in place it doesn't mean they are going to be any good.

I think that if we trade down, it's probably to take a Pass Rusher but honestly, I don't know who that would be.

Best news for Dallas this year. Wentz won't make it in this league and He's going to be an Eagle. Not to mention all the pics the Eagles had to give up.

I am just stating there is another option here than the Eagles having sacrified their future. They very well could have solidified their future.

Wow, the Eagles are stupid. Lol

They don't even technically know who they are taking. The Rams' leftover?

I so hope the Cowboys were involved and drove the price up.

They are not even Winston or Mariota:laugh: They might be Chad Pennington at best.

a few (not all) from Scout Inc pre-draft

99--Luck/Rodgers
98--Ryan
97--Winston
96-Cutler/Stafford
94_Tannehill
93--Mariota
92--Brohm
91--Goff
91--Wentz
90--Locker
90--Henne
90--Manziel
89--G Smith

just having fun...I know they hit some and miss some.

When he ends up being a top-five quarterback you'll remember this post .

That's assuming they actually get the QB they want. Another idiotic or head scratching part of the deal. There's no way they can like both QBs the same. Taking a huge risk they actually get the guy they want

I am guessing they know who is going to be there.

Amazing deal for Cleveland my god.

All that for Wentz geeeeez.

All it takes is one SB to make it a good trade. Yes it's a lot, but baring any health issues, they just found their franchise QB for the next 12+ years and hopefully it will be another McNabb ending.
