Browns trade Eagles #2 overall pick

Since the Eagles were the main threat to take Zeke, I wonder if we could trade down to 8 with the Browns or to 9 with the Bucs (before the Giants pick at 10, basically) and still get Zeke. If we can drop 4 or 5 spots and still pick our guy, while picking up a 2nd rounder in the process, that would be outstanding.

The only problem is Zeke isn't our guy.

I am just stating there is another option here than the Eagles having sacrified their future. They very well could have solidified their future.

I did say "2/3rd of the time", not 100% of the time.

You said "we cemented" as if we were somehow complicit in today's proceedings.

Well, at least the browns won't kill another QB's career....but hope the Eagles do....:lmao:

This means Zeke is very well in play for us, especially if a trade down. However, if we draft Bosa, at least EE won't go to the Eagles. now just need to keep him away from the Giants.
Ravens and dolphins could be in play for Zeke too.

Now at 4 we have Ramsey and a DE with a drug history. Yay! Glad we didn't move up!

Yeah let's trade up and give draft picks away this year and next for a QB that might not be worth it.

One of the more interesting things in all of this that I supposed the Browns really believe in RG3??? That blows my mind. Maybe they'll take Lynch.

On the day the Eagles moved to #8, I predicted they would move higher to draft a QB. Was basically laughed at because of the money they spent on Bradford and Daniels.

Unfortunately, I was right.

Good call by you. I give them credit for being creative to get to #8, I thought they were going to try and get to #1 prior to the Rams, and then having the stones to make this move. What i'm most surprised about is how much 2 teams were willing to give up to get quarterbacks that there doesn't seem to be a consensus on being franchise qb's. I guess it speaks to the fact that the team that was originally at #1, just drafted their hoped upon franchise qb and the dearth of qb's in the upcoming drafts, and the lack of traditional qb's being developed in high school and college. I don't know.

I love that some fans on here are already writing off the talent available at number 4. It's stinking NUMBER 4. So much talent there. Get a good talent and use every spin of the wheel (read: draft pick) and see what comes out.

Radio is saying they moved up because Dallas would've taken Wentz.
