Browns trade Eagles #2 overall pick

And this is why we can't miss out. We have to either do two things. We have to trade out, pick up a next year's one, or tank next season. Look people, I'm looking long term now.

I'd like to know how we're going to come up with our next QB of the future. No one's going to trade a SB caliber QB to us, and no one is going to just give us the number one pick. Our coaching staff is pretty dumb, and there's no way on earth they're going to develop some third round QB. Romo will be great for a couple more years, then he will be JAG. He may not even make it through next season. The time is now to maneuver things around to put us into position to get a QB next season since this year is screwed.

like i said earlier....this organization is a day late and a dollar short.

On the day the Eagles moved to #8, I predicted they would move higher to draft a QB. Was basically laughed at because of the money they spent on Bradford and Daniels.

Fortunately, I was right.

FTFY. They just shipped off boatload of quality picks.

Some things I've heard is that the coaches want him badly (including Marinelli) but management wants Bosa more. Lot of "Zeke to the Cowboys" talk today on ESPN including Bill Polian who said we should absolutely take him.

We shall see.

I'd probably throw up if we took Zeke at 4.

Although I want him badly I completely understand why you feel like that. Can I ask if we moved out how would you feel at 8-10? We would have to stay ahead of the Giants because no way he gets by them.

You better hope Wentz doesn't pan out, or you will be swearing at the TV screen for years to come.

Exactly! Pretty easy to rip on the Eagles now but if he's the real deal that's gonna suck.

I am glad. Did not want these two qbs and Eagles just depleted their current and future drafts.

The trade sucks. It didn't deplete them this year, or any other year. I would have preferred a Washington type trade where they gave up more quality in a shorter period of time. Philly had multiple picks in around 3 and 4. They basically got that 2 pick for a 3 and 4 this year. A number 1 next year, and a 2 in 2018.

The only positive this will set them back this year, and no 1 next year unless Bradford has a good year, and they trade him.

If whomever they draft is good this will suck. If this quarterback is a bust it will set them back 3 to 5 years.

Eagles VP Howie Roseman just said the Eagles looked at both quarterbacks (Goff and Wentz) closely, as well as those who would be coming out of college over the next few years, before deciding to make the move up to #2. So, they'll take the one the Rams don't.

This comment from him does make me chuckle. So they looked out a few years and didn't see any QBs coming out as good so they moved to #2 to take a QB in Wentz, that one year ago, he probably had little knowledge of?

Your math makes no sense.

They gave up a 1 this year. A 1 next year. A 2 in 2 years. And a 3rd and 4th this year.

That is... A lot.

What 98% of the people around here dont think of is this. The college QB position is in a huge downward spiral. In a few years there will be NO pro style D1 QBs. As much as the position is a developmental one now, it will be 10X worse in a few short years. Someone in the Fecal organization seen this coming and made a very wise decision.

That's right, even if we did draft Tunsil, it's not going to matter because Romo holds the damn ball too long. What part of that don't you understand? A guy who holds the ball and won't throw it away, will get hit and dropped. So you can have 5 Tunsil's across the board on the line, and Romo will still refuse to throw the ball away.

How about the part when, you know, you didn't explain your point? You simply stated "Romo was injured, hurr durr, offensive line doesn't matter!". That was your initial point.

Now you are trying to explain away and wondering why it wasn't initially understood. It is up to YOU to explain what you meant, your two sentence original post said nothing. And you're still doing a piss poor job explaining it: Romo holding the ball too long still doesn't take away that we have an aging RT and a backup who was on the sideline all year.

Now, let's see what else you got.

I don't and will not explain anything to mattjames, he's not worth what I'm typing right now.

Tunsil is the highest rated player by most and some even have Ramsey rated higher I feel certain they'll be some trade offers.

The only team that MIGHT trade up for Tunsil is Ravens. The Jags are in front of them, so if Jags don't want him, Ravens will snatch Tunsil. As for Ramsey, I don't see anyone trading up for him. He will slide and someone will get him at a good spot.

I think it's a little more wishful thinking on your part.
