Browns trade Eagles #2 overall pick

IF someone is willing to do that. I have my doubts now with how this draft is shaking up.

Tunsil is the highest rated player by most and some even have Ramsey rated higher I feel certain they'll be some trade offers.

I wanna trade our pick for a mid first, two second rounders this year, and a third this year.

Oh and cleveland must regard rg3 as better than wentz otherwise they wouldnt have passed on the future HOFer ( as many think in the zone- but i dont).

The key is the Chargers drafting Tunsil. Then at 4 your have Ramsey sitting there. Cleveland could swap with us for their second round pick and take Ramsey and they would still get their guy. At 8, we draft Elliot unless a team like Miami or NYG try to jump to 7. I can see cle taking Ramsey, the jags taking Jack, Baltimore taking Bosa and the 49ers taking Buckner. We're see.

Are you using the Browns QB selection history as a way to try to make your point?:D

I guess I'm in the minority that believes that Wentz is going to the Rams and this trade was for Goff (or plot twist..Ramsey!)

So you and cleveland think the same way. Congrats.

Nope they suck at picking qbs historically. Just happen to agree w them this time. Even a broken clock is right two times a day.

Yes, but that wasn't your original trash point, now was it? Your original point was that our line didn't prevent Romo from getting injured...so we are going to pass on Tunsil. It was a terrible point.

And even with your now revised point, what are we going to do, pass on every elite RT prospect or a prospect we think may become something in the future due to cap demand? Jerry wants to build the greatest offensive line in history, that isn't cheap.

I also find it funny, this board that goes on about "The cap doesn't matter", Stephen Jones "The cap doesn't matter"....until it does.

That's right, even if we did draft Tunsil, it's not going to matter because Romo holds the damn ball too long. What part of that don't you understand? A guy who holds the ball and won't throw it away, will get hit and dropped. So you can have 5 Tunsil's across the board on the line, and Romo will still refuse to throw the ball away.

Words cannot express the joy I would experience if Philly gave up all that to draft a safety.

The only problem is Zeke isn't our guy.

Some things I've heard is that the coaches want him badly (including Marinelli) but management wants Bosa more. Lot of "Zeke to the Cowboys" talk today on ESPN including Bill Polian who said we should absolutely take him.

We shall see.

To me, this draft is all about us coming out with a QB. If that can't be established, I'd rather trade out for a next year's first. I'm not accepting any offers that doesn't involve a next year's first. With two first rounders next year, we're in perfect position to get a top QB. If we trade out, let's say 4 or 5 spots, get that first rounder and get Elliott, that would be ideal.

What is there to learn? They took a chance and it didn't pan out.

And, by the way, Washington has won two NFC East titles since they drafted RGIII. The Cowboys have won one.

The real question is whether Cowboys brass has learned anything from the Post Aikman years.

I wish I could like this multiple times.

All the evidence to-date points to the Cowboys brass not learning much from the Post Aikman years.....much to my dismay.

I hear you, unfortunately, you don't get into much better position than #4 overall, with two QBs projected to go in the Top 5. Price of QB poker in the NFL is going up quickly.

And this is why we can't miss out. We have to either do two things. We have to trade out, pick up a next year's one, or tank next season. Look people, I'm looking long term now.

I'd like to know how we're going to come up with our next QB of the future. No one's going to trade a SB caliber QB to us, and no one is going to just give us the number one pick. Our coaching staff is pretty dumb, and there's no way on earth they're going to develop some third round QB. Romo will be great for a couple more years, then he will be JAG. He may not even make it through next season. The time is now to maneuver things around to put us into position to get a QB next season since this year is screwed.

Eagles VP Howie Roseman just said the Eagles looked at both quarterbacks (Goff and Wentz) closely, as well as those who would be coming out of college over the next few years, before deciding to make the move up to #2. So, they'll take the one the Rams don't.

That can't be, I was told right here that this crop of QBs sucked and we should just wait another year or two.....
