If they gave you their 15th and two 2nds...that basically what you'd get if you wanted to trade back into the 1st round with those extra 2s. Pending having a trade partner.

no. I think Tenn stinks this year. I want their 2017 1st rounder (probably top 5). Hold them up.

Why would we move down 11 spots for only a 2nd and 3rd when others teams are getting twice as much to move into top 5 for a premium player? Make sense?

Because there is actually a big difference between having the 1st and 2nd pick and the 4th pick. And in a draft when there are only two QBs likely to go in the Top 5, the value of the top 2 picks goes up even more.

That's it? So you'd take #15 and then next year's #1 for #4?

If you mean, let them keep the two 2nds and just accept next years 1st?
They'd be thrilled to give us that, so you'd have a deal.

LOL.

There ain't a frog's chances in hell you'd get that for the 4th pick.

You are forgetting something in your analysis. The 2nd pick is far more valuable than the 4th pick. Further, QBs are the most heavily sought after players in a draft and when there are only two that are Top 5 players and both will go 1-2, the value of the 2nd pick goes up even more than the 4th.

LT is a premium position. Maybe not as valuable as a QB, but you don't trade out of the top 5 and drop 11 spots for just an extra 2 Picks, Period! It'd be the dumbest trade since Mo.

LT is a premium position. But not in the same class as a franchise QB. That position is in a class all by itself.

So you can think you could get all that for the 4th pick, but you won't. Especially in this draft now that both QBs are not even an option anymore.

And if you can turn one Top 5 pick into then say 3 or 4 top 50 picks in a draft that's deeper than it is strong in upper level talent, absolutely, that's a smart deal.

I wouldn't even want the #3 if I'm Cowboys. Just give me both 2's and let's call it a day.

Again, it'd be dumb to move down 11 spots for just that when more can be had iftey value Tunsil so much. That's who the Titans value, Tunsil not the fourth pick. Make em pay for it, if its worth it. If not, take your stud and run! And I'm not moving down 11 spots just to help them get theirs.

So we either get Ramsey or trade down with someone who wants Tunsil, that's a good start for the draft.

I absolutely want to do it, and basically get 3 guys in the top 60 or players to retool the defense. There is the worry about missing on a lot of second day guys, but you could really change the face of the defense and have a ton of young talent.

I agree, if for no other reason than to prevent Red from convincing the scouting department/JJ to draft a rb at #4 and focus on the real problem of defense instead. Figure out a way to draft Dodd, Day, Neal and let's go!

For what? A DL who isn't much better than one you can snag with the extra 2nd?

I wish I could dislike this! We'd only be getting an extra top 50 pick to move down 11 spots.. No thanks

It's absolutely not dumb if you view the draft as being more deep than filled with studs at the top, which many people are saying. We don't even really need Tunsil, he'd be a luxury at this point.

So if I can trade the 4th pick and end up with 2 more second rounders this year and maybe even a 3rd, that's a big win for this franchise.

There is no way the Titans, or any team for that matter, would trade two or three 2nd rounders this year AND then next year's #1 to go from 15 to 4. It's a pipe dream.

A fair deal would be getting the 15th and then two of their three second rounders.

If Tunsil falls to us its an absolute dream scenario. I would hold out for two second round picks from the Titans. If they call my bluff, then I just draft the best prospect in the draft.

If they really want to get aggressive, they could try to turn it into a Manning/Rivers scenario, but I doubt that would happen.

I agree 100%, except I'm not sure who our stud is at #4.
