Are you glad we didn't get P. Lynch?

Right. And lost him. Brilliant move.

Which makes their signing Lynch more desperate, but with the wrong piece to that puzzle.

There is no guarantee whatsoever that guy ends up playing at a high level.

I'm glad we saved our picks, and get more shots at quality players. We'll take a QB that our staff likes, and see how it plays out.

Romo will play for 3 more years, especially since we signed the best blocking RB that some have ever seen.

For all those who hate the Zeke pick, you better not watch the games, 'cause you're gonna have a hard time hiding that big smile on your face.

Oh, and if some of you hate him and the FO so much that his success just makes you angry, then you really need to find another team.

You're delusional if you think Romo has 3 good years remaining in him. I despise the Jones family serving as the Cowboy's front office. Never tried to hide that fact.

The Cowboys made essentially the same offer for Lynch, yet you equate the Broncos' move as desperate, while standing behind the FO that made the same desperate move. That tells you all you need to know about Romo and his back, his collarbone and anything else that's worn out. Even the habitually clueless Jones family knows Romo is close to the end.

I've not read where a single poster hates Ezekiel Elliott. I detest the pick, but still acknowledge that he's a quality player. Expressing an opinion that drafting him 4th overall is a horrible value does not = hate. It's common sense.

Romo could have two or three years left in him, and the Broncos just won a sb, they get some leeway in the next couple of years.

we should go all in forClemson QB Watson next year all in.... im glad we weren't able to trade up

Lynch was the last QB I wanted. That said, I am glad he went to Denver. I think that frees up the Cowboys to draft some of these good defensive players that are available.

I feel like we dodged a bullet there.

We were offering our 2nd & 3rd round pick for that guy. We desperately need defenders and since we didn't get Wentz or Goff i'd rather just sell out on winning now.

Thank you Denver!

It would have been a terrible move to give up that for a player who will only see the field when Romo is injured. That's the kind of move you make when you don't have a QB.

they should wait till 4th to go QB

They'll likely end up with another Stephen McGee if they do that. If you want a decent shot at landing at least a viable backup QB you can't look any later than the 3rd round.

mcgee was a bad pick I thought at the time... better QBs then him in the 4th... that 3rd rd should be defense no question

I would say detest = hate.

I don't really understand why anyone would stick with a pastime that doesn't give them pleasure.

First of all, it's not our money, our jobs, our responsibility, our headaches, etc.
It would make more sense for people to get emotional about the decisions of a company in which they own stock -- at least they have a stake (tiny and insignificant as it is). For that matter it would be better to get a piece of the GB Packers.

The Cowboys have an All-Pro QB who has nothing wrong with his legs or throwing arm. His back is also structurally sound. He is protected by an ever-improving cadre of OL and RB, so injury is even less likely. Tom Brady will probably play until he's 40; Tony could, too.

Delusions are beliefs that are firmly maintained, despite being contradicted by evidence or rationale. Ask Tony if he's delusional.

Yup, those 2nd/3rd round picks, we for sure we'll sell out on winning now!!!!

I find it hard to believe anyone who's watched Driskel play thinks he has any future at all in the NFL.

Considering that orange T..... I assume to you did enjoy his struggles.

I did watch him, saw what the hype was about- Muschump destroyed him

Go GATORS

I watched his pro day he is real slow getting rid of the ball wind up too long.Wait he won['t be all that either. This was a lame year for QBs..

I detest the pick, not the player. Not really sure why that is such a difficult idea for you. If we'd gotten EE at, say, pick 25, it would've been much more palatable.

The T has nothing to do with it. If the Cowboys had traded down and picked up Hargreaves, it would have been a solid pick. Driskel anywhere in this draft is likely a waste, which is why he'll still be there for anyone who wants him come day 3, probably late into day 3.

At the cost of 34 and 67, I'm ambivalent.

I can see both good and bad. First round quarterbacks are that valuable but the reality is moving 8 spots or whatever it was is a pittance to get for those two picks.

What Buffalo wanted was a much worse deal.

We need to get serious about the QB position obviously the Cowboys must be serious if they were willing to give up a #2 and #3 to move back into the first round for Paxton Lynch. Defense is definitely important but so is the backup QB position. I'm not sold on Moore so we need to draft a solid prospect and once you reach the 4th round your chances of doing so have diminished. When we took McGee in the 4th round in 09 none of the other QBs taken after him got past year two in the NFL. You really need to land one of the top 4 QBs if you want a good shot at a solid backup and possibly a future starting QB.

everyone had 3 top QBs in the draft and then there was a drop off and i can see why boys tried to trade for the 3rd ranked QB lynch but there not going to go all in for a backup QB when romo can still play a least 3 more yrs plus team is in win now mode and imo this yrs top QBs are weak so glad broncos saved the day... agree team needs an able backup still and there have been plenty who have had solid careers that were 4th rd or lower
