Wow...great pick by the Bills! They won
Can not trade comp picks.
What if we doubled down at QB and picked Cardel Jones if he slide to the late 6th?
2009 would like to have a word with you.
Well, right now behind Tony we have a guy who has never won a game and a guy who has never played a game.
Some of the guys on this board make me laugh. "WE need a QB, we need a qb RARARA" Then we get one, how actually isnt really that bad. "What a dumb pick, i hate this franchise, jerry needs to go.." Jeeze.
Prisco gave it an A... first time he's done that all week, still waiting for Walter (he is lagging behind). From what I have seen he has a lot of potential at the next level but will need to learn to be a pocket passer. Still a lot of the negatives about Cook seem to be more positive here, good leader, better accuracy/completion %/, etc. Any chance we bring back a bit of a wildcat formation? Like I said before, bad pick in the 3rd, good pick at the end of the 4th.
They have 1 6th rd pick that can be traded
Can not trade comp picks.
Yeah, just since '71.
Tanier on Prescott:
135. Dallas Cowboys: Dak Prescott, Quarterback, Ole Miss.
Bleacher Report proudly presents Mike Tanier’s Deadly Accurate Quarterback Comparisons for Dak Prescott:
- Matt Schaub with wheels.
Jargon-Free Scouting Nutshell: Prescott is the best quarterback in this draft at reading defenses, making line calls, checking down to secondary receivers and other mental aspects of the job. He runs fairly well and makes throws on the run, but the more time he spends in the pocket trying to push accurate passes downfield, the more trouble Prescott gets into. Think of Prescott like a 30-year old journeyman who arrived in the draft instead of free agency. His upside is limited, but he could get a team through a four-game emergency as a rookie and has the potential to be a capable starter on a team that surrounds him with goodies.
- EJ Manuel without the boardwalk fortune teller accuracy.
Prescott and the Cowboys are a good fit. The Cowboys get a backup who can hold down the fort if Tony Romo's shoulder disintegrates, and they are building an offense that can be run at a high level by a heady caretaker type if Prescott cannot develop into something more. Grade: A-minus.
Good. Like that Dak pick. Right place to pick him.
