Durant signs with Warriors!

Biggest losers? .... OKC..... Clay Thompson...... Dallas Mavericks via Barnes contract.

That's pretty crazy - who knows how long he stays there. Perhaps he usurps Curry and they build around him, or well in this NBA you can never tell. But I mean, would you be young, single and rich and live in one of the best parts of the country or in Oklahoma City?

Perhaps had his original team been in a larger market he would have stayed

Thompson plays SG. Durant will replace Barnes who was a weak link on the Warriors. I think Green will lose some shots as well.

The Warriors play in San Jose so not Oakland. There are a lot a great places to live in the Bay Area.

So will Kevin Durant receive the same backlash that Lebron received? Obviously he didn't have a TV special to rip out the fans of OKCs hearts, but he played with a much better player in Westbrook, than Lebron ever played with in Cleveland and left to join a super team (that already won a championship without him). On top of that, him leaving almost guarantees that they lose a great player is Russell Westbrook.

No, he won't.
He isn't a hometown kid and he isn't the best player in the world at the time.

Westbrook is a Cali guy that hates the east coast.
If he leaves it is for Cali.

Maybe, I doubt he joins Golden State and the Lakers still may not be a very attractive option depending on how they do this year. Phoenix and Sacremento won't get the time of day. Maybe the Clippers sign him and deal Paul, not sure, just doesn't seem like the West coast is that attractive. Maybe NY isn't either, guess we'll see in a year.

He is the most west coast guy in the entire league.
LA kid who stayed for college and carries a full on hardcore West Coast persona.

He may be traded to the Lakers/Clips this year.
OKC is unlikely to hold him and lose him for nothing.
Griffin was an OU star...?
Griffin plus a couple picks plus a quality guard just might do it.

Im officially not watching or following the NBA for the 16-17 Season......Mavs are gonna suck like the 90's again, and the Cavs and Warriors are gonna dominate again....the Regular season is gonna be pointless anyway.....
