Would have never believed Jerry would get in before Jimmy.....But then again...Nothing is official. My conspiracy is the league is toying w/ Jerry. Let him get his hopes up...just to pull the football away.

You really think that? Ask yourself this...Is the league in better shape now than it was 27 years ago? I'd say it's not even close...how poor the quality of the league has become. It's not even football anymore. With all the rule changes...to the game and the way practices are being handled...It's not even professional football anymore. Players don't practice. Don't hit. Are over paid...and the quality of play on the field is @ an all time low. It's seriously got to a point I won't shell out 250.00 a year to watch on Sunday ticket. That I know for sure. It's become the WWE for all intent and purposes.:rolleyes:

yet its more popular than ever and the owners have never made more money

sucks, I like old school ball and dynasties (especially when the Cowboys were one) too but those times are dead

We can have a reasonable argument on whether Jerry's impact has been good, bad, or neutral... What I don't think we can argue is whether he had a huge impact on the league. He has.
 
as a owner or member of the league I get it, but as a GM, then it is not right.
I dont think owners need to be in there at all, just players or coaches, and owners could have their
own separate hof, to celebrate themselves, they have the money to make a real nice one.
 
Incredible contributor to the NFL and one of the most influential owners ever allowed in that special club. Kudos to Mr. Jones. Hope he gets in and the Boys play in the HOF game after winning the SB this season.

Why does Jimmy deserve to get in first? He coached and helped build two SuperBowl teams. That's it. Jerry built three Super Bowl teams, and has been a major factor in many key league objectives. The deification of Jimmy Johnson by Cowboys fans grows every year.

Jimmy Johnson is NOT a hall of fame coach. Ring of honor yes, HOF no.

The only reason Jerry is getting is nominated is because he is the owner of the Cowboys. Joe Schmo could have been owner of the Cowboys...and Joe Schmo would be geting nominated.

The fact that guys like Gil Bryant or Tex Schramm aren't being discussed is disgusting. Jerry taking credit again for someone elses hard work....Just like when the Cowboys won Super Bowl XXX w/ Jimmy's team. But Jerry and Barry did it "Their way"

I was just comin in here to say, not only does he get in, I guarantee we'll be one of the HOF game teams......which wouldnt be a bad thing IF it was included as one the 4 pre-season games and not a 5th one....
