Baseball players mull over which cap will go on their bust... with Jerry, it will be which version of his face :)

Having said that, extremely well-deserved. Jerry is a slam dunk candidate, like Tom Brady. Jimmy is a strong candidate as well (he was a finalist before this year) but not a slam dunk like Jerry.

as a owner or member of the league I get it, but as a GM, then it is not right.
I dont think owners need to be in there at all, just players or coaches, and owners could have their
own separate hof, to celebrate themselves, they have the money to make a real nice one.

There are some ticked off people in Denver right now who think Pat Bowen was far more deserving than Jerry ever has been...

I was just comin in here to say, not only does he get in, I guarantee we'll be one of the HOF game teams......which wouldnt be a bad thing IF it was included as one the 4 pre-season games and not a 5th one....
Naw, I like the extra game. More evaluation of 2ND and 3rd teamers

You really think that? Ask yourself this...Is the league in better shape now than it was 27 years ago? I'd say it's not even close...how poor the quality of the league has become. It's not even football anymore. With all the rule changes...to the game and the way practices are being handled...It's not even professional football anymore. Players don't practice. Don't hit. Are over paid...and the quality of play on the field is @ an all time low. It's seriously got to a point I won't shell out 250.00 a year to watch on Sunday ticket. That I know for sure. It's become the WWE for all intent and purposes.

So they make more, do less, get injured less, etc. and you're whining?

Isnt that everyone's goal? Do less work to get paid more? You sound jelly.

Why is all of that Jerry's fault?

He has taken the leadship NFL franchise and has completely turned it into the NFL laughing stock. We don't practice hard. Players know they have it made if they just tow the party line and say all the right sound bites. Camp cupcake never left...

Less not forget this is now 22 years..(and running) of a poorly run orginazation that hasn't even come close to getting back to the Super Bowl?

How is that HOF worthy?????

Jerry's revenue brilliance has placed the Cowboys and the rest of the NFL in a position where success on the field is not necessary to make money.

These revenue streams has allowed Jerry to remain as GM without the consequences losing used to bring financially.

Well done.

It's like optimizing an Iconic brand while watering down the product.

Like Budweiser. Most popular, best selling but not the best product . Good ole American ingenuity at its best.

More is not always better.

He has turned the Cowboys into the most profitable sports team in the world. He has helped make more money for the NFL than just about any single person ever. Jerry's getting in and it should be first ballot.

Jimmy probably never gets in, wasn't in Dallas long enough and his work in Miami left a lot to be desired.

Gil Brandt should absolutely be in.

Tex Schramm should be as well.

If that were only the case. People who never played don't understand...you have to work...and be in football shape..to avoid injury. All this 1/2 motion/ thud practices..all it does is invite injury. You have to seperate the men from the boys...and Jerry has continued for 20+ years fail to grasp this concept.

Pat Bowlen has been the owner of a very successful team that has been to a bunch of SBs.

Having said that, just being an owner doesn't you a HOF candidate. I can't say Bowlen has been particularly influential.

Jerry has been.

Without the success Jerry had with Jimmy , Jerry would have been ran out of town.
You can't write the NFL History without Jerry Jones in it. A well deserved nomination and I hope he gets in.
There wouldn't be any Jerry history worth noting without the early success he had with Jimmy.

Blah, blah, blah....if my Uncle was a girl he'd be my Aunt.

Jerry has been at the forefront of the League and owners for at least 20+ years...he is getting in.
